    Great Vacation!

    We had a wonderful time, the condo was great!!! Great location, Breckenridge is definitely a place we will be coming back to.

    Fantastic location & beautiful condo

    This lovely condo was very recently updated with new furniture and it is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay. The location could not be any better as it is within easy walking distance to main street restaurants as well as the ski lifts. Our condo featured a private hot tub and we also has access to a heated swimming pool with additional hot tubs. We highly recommend this condo, summer or winter.

    very good place to stay

    lots of room to relax in, nice hot tub, walk to slopes and town, some of bath tile needs work, main desk will fix any problems quickly.

    Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.

    I have forwarded this on to the maintenance department to ensure that the bath tile is completely repaired. Thank you for noting!

    Dated unit but spacious and great location

    We ski at Breck a lot and usually stay at one friends' house or anther. This was our first summer visit to Breckenridge, and since we had many other family members in tow this time, we decided against imposing our friends. I booked by calling the number on the website. The guy was very helpful and gave us a few different options based on our situation. I had a vague idea of where One Breckenridge Place was located; when we arrived, I discovered that was one of the best things about it. While it's a little far, it is within walking distance of the gondola. It is also well within walking distance of main street, which is very nice, especially since parking can be problematic at times. The unit was spacious and fit our 5 adults and 3 children party comfortably. The decor has an early '90s vibe and could probably use some updating, particularly the tile countertops and tile floors, where the grout is all kinds of undone. I feel more strongly about this after seeing lots of photos of other units with quartz countertops and other more updated appearances while I was trying to find this unit on the website to leave a review. That being said, the unit was okay overall and offers a full kitchen, separate shower and jetted tub in the master, and full size washer/dryer. There is a very nice hot tub on the balcony, but the balcony faces Park (major street). This offers a nice-ish view of town (not the slopes) but extremely little hot tub-privacy. There is a one car garage, and there is other limited lot parking available (with permit/proof of rental). I'm not sure how the almost $400/night compares with other 3BDR/3Bath units in the area during this time of year since we usually freeload our lodging. Overall, the unit worked out well for us and is in a vey convenient location for Main Street strip access; since its summer I can't comment on the ski-in/out practicality of this location.

    Wonderful news about your first summer stay in Breckenridge and One Breckenridge Place Townhomes! I will let the owner know though about the need for an update to the kitchen and the bathrooms, as it is good information for them with other units being updated.

    Great location

    2 families stayed in this condo. Very close to ski lift and town which was great; however, for the price we paid to stay a week, the kitchen was inadequate. There were no decent pans/skillets for cooking. We're not gourmet cooks but it would have been nice to have a baking tray or a pancake griddle or even gas in the outside grill. We also noticed that the bathrooms were supplied with very inexpensive toilet paper and facial tissue. Consider upgrading. Hot tub facing busy street was also very distracting. We'll be back but will rent in the back part of condo complex.

    Great time had by all!

    ~~~A Great Family Vacation~~~
    We had a marvelous stay at Great Western Lodging One Breckenridge Place 02! The people are friendly and easy to work with. They answer all questions cheerfully and welcomed us warmly. Our condo was absolutely georgeous. It was very clean, decorated nicely, and everything was in working order. The condo was facing the main highway so we could see the family catching the buses to the slopes which was great. For me, that was okay, but for the everyday skiers in the family, they would have rather stayed at a ski in/ ski out condo. It is somewhat of a hassle to have to wait and catch a bus to and from the slopes morning, evening and at lunch.. That would be the only thing we could say negative about the condo location. If you decide to stay in this condo you might want to bring your electric skillet or some extra pans depending on how many you are cooking for. This one could sleep as many as 8+ if you wanted. There is a bunk bed in one bedroom with a double bed on the bottom, a queen in one room, both downstairs, a king in the master upstairs and I believe the couch pulls into a bed also. We had way too much room. Out the door and to the bus stop....Unless your in very good shape, that block away lift is a long way. Overall, I have to say it is a nice place to stay. Thanks Great Western Lodging for a great vacation.
    snow experience
    This was a family holiday for myself and husband, son daughter in law and baby aged 9 months, second son and his friend. We had a great holiday and the townhome was spacious and well appointed for skiing and for non skiers too. The issues we experienced related to a delayed arrival so that we all got to 1 breckensidge place at past midnight and we found it difficult to get into accomodation. We were tired and had a cold baby to settle so it was a real problem. There was no obvious signage telling us where to go and after a bit of detective work we did get the key. We also found that the cot ordered by the travel agent had not been booked and thus no bed for babe until we sorted one next morning. This was via the agent and she was very very helpful. Perhaps we should have had an email regarding entry after office hours. We also had not relaised that we would have no provisions, in most UK rented houses and in Europe too there would normally be a minimal supply of essentials such as milk, bread and juice maybe. There were no stores open at the time we arrived. Once we had this all sorted then things went very well. My elder son became very unwell and we found the care given to him at the local clinic excellent and he made enough of a recovery to do some skiing even if not at his peak. We found the facilities in the townhome good although we would have like some more appropriate cooking equipment as we wanted to prepare our own meals. We got by! Overall we had a great time and shopping and skiing was excellent. Thank you Margaret Lane
