We stayed here for a week getaway in late September to hike, bike and see the aspens turn. This review applies to room 207, since all the condos are individually owned. This is a one bedroom condo. The bottom line is that this condominium was great for two people. It was small, (approx. 600 sq ft.) but adequate for just the two of us. It is modern with nice furniture, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a deck, two sinks in the bathroom, and a kitchen that was stocked with every thing imaginable - except for an average size frying pan. Also, it since the bedroom was small, it was difficult to have two suitcases open at the same time. The location was perfect being less than a block from main street and right off the end of the bike path. There was also a bike rack in the covered garage for chaining our bikes. However, a second bike rack would be nice since the one there was full, but we managed to squeeze in. We rented through Great Western Lodging, and they did a great job in helping us select where to stay since there are many condos available in Breckenridge in the off season. The GW people were all very friendly and make the stay more pleasant.
Dear Desert Dweller -
Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.
I have forwarded this on to housekeeping to see about getting a frying pan in the unit for future guests, as well as the homeowner association to see if a second bike rack can be added in the garage next summer, just want to be sure there is plenty of room to lock bikes up for all our guests.
Your review of your stay in Park Avenue Lofts #207 is greatly appreciated and please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge!

Will not go back. The unit was very noisy and very hot. We had to keep the windows open because of the heat, but the noise in the hallway and outside near the Dredge and Mi Casa was worse. At 9 am on checkout I was asked in the garage what unit I was in by a cleaning crew. They asked me twice if I was done getting my things out so they could clean. I thought checkout was at 10, and we felt rushed. We could not sleep, felt rushed at checkout, and when I mentioned this to Great Western at checkout my concerns were not addressed and I felt you were very dismissive.
Dear Unhappy Biker –
Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.
I have forwarded the information on to the on-site property manager for Park Avenue Lofts, as they should have resolved any after-hours hallway noise, as well as called the police on any late night noise disturbances outside of the property. We apologize for the noise disturbances and will follow up with Police Department to keep an ear to any noise coming from the Dredge Restaurant.
The housekeepers have all been talked to about the situation in the garage, as they should not be having any conversations with the guests, especially not before check-out time. The front desk staff has also been over the review and retrained on the correct procedure when a guest expresses concerns on their stay, as your experience was unacceptable.
Your review of your stay in Park Avenue Lofts #207 is greatly appreciated and please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge!

This was our 2nd time staying at Park avenue Lofts. We love how close everything is. We park our car when we get there and rarely use it till we leave. The condos have always been clean, nicely furnished, and well cared for. Cannot beat being right in town.

The staff at GWL is very friendly and attentive. The condo is nicely furnished and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, and most everything you can think of - there was even a crock pot in our unit so our dinner was ready when got off the slopes! The Quicksilver lift is a short walk across the street from the condo, which is also just off Main Street for those who want to walk around town. Indoor parking is great - we walked everywhere and left the car in the warm garage. We had a great time and will stay here again!

We stay at Park ave each Thanksgiving and will continue to do so in the future. Incredible service provided from the staff - the Quicksilver lift is across the street - minimal walking distance to Main street -- absolutely perfect location! Very clean and kitchen is full of up-to-date cook ware - Thanksgiving rates are very affordable - My wife and two daughters are very happy staying here the last 4 years - the only 'gripe' that I had this year was the thermostat didn't seem to work accurately (it was set on 60 degrees, but we were way too hot - we ended up opening the windows a crack to cool off the room) Great place to stay and I recommend Park ave and Great Western Lodging to my friends back home!

It started off with underground parking that is in the center of everything. The view of the town and mountains, fresh air, friendly people. The lofts are very clean and well maintained. We could hear the Blue River and view the mountains, had our coffee and breakfast on the balcony. With the transit system from town to town I really didn't need to use my car, the hiking and biking trails are for everyone, just find your level and go for it, we felt a wonderful tired every evening, but since we were in the center of town and it was very quiet and peaceful we could walk to a great selection of restaurants. The music center was a cultural plus, didn't expect to find that level of musicians in "Breck". It's a very friendly people town and if you have a dog it's a canine heven. We couldn't have been more pleased with our condo, just the right size, not overdone, pratical but modern and efficent. Wish we were still there.

Thank-you for a wonderful experience at Great Western Lodging. Comfortable, quiet and close to the ski hill & town, the Park avenue units are perfect for people who want a one-stop vacation home. The view, hot tub, ski locker, kitchen and washer-dryer made every aspect of the trip easy to enjoy, so all we had to do was ski!

This was our second time staying at Park ave. Lofts. We had been there the year before for our honeymoon. The units are well equipped with everything you need and the views are awesome. We enjoyed walking down stairs to find ourselves right in the middle of town. We could walk pretty much everywhere. The maintenance manager is as friendly as they come but you won't be needing him, the units are in excellent condition. It's not like a hotel, it's an apartment so if you are looking for a hotel like experience this is not for you. No one comes to clean your room or bring you extra towels and that is how we like it. We just wanted a nice quiet stay at a clean and up to date place in the middle of everything Breck has to offer. That's Park ave Lofts. We plan to return to Breck every year and I'm sure we will stay there again.

Location is why I chose to stay in that condo. Only negative is the same problem everytime I stay in any condo at Park avenue Lofts - the heat is horrible. There is no way to moderate what the temperature is in the condo. Only way to adjust condo being sooo hot is to open windows. Nice condo - very comfortable - furnishings are fine.

This was the first condo in 5 yrs that had all the amenities that worked. It was very close to the slopes for young children to walk to and from for lunch in the condo. The condo was one of the best we have stayed in.

This was my fourth trip to Breckenridge, so I'm familiar with the town. These condos are in the perfect location between the slopes and shops/restaurants on Main Street. They're literally right across the street from the Peak 9 base, but there are also paths on the back side that put you right in the center of Main Street in a two minute walk. They're a little small, but totally fine for two people (the one-bedroom version). Modern kitchen and bath and very clean. This particular condo had an awesome mattress in the bedroom. It had a gas fireplace which I love and an outdoor space as well. An underground parking parking space is included (very helpful as it snowed every day we were there) - there is ski storage in the basement too. All in all, it had everything I wanted at a reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again.

Park avenue Lofts is a very upscale property in a great central location. In winter ski season, it is a very shory walk to the lifts. It is also within close walking distance to numerous great dining options as well as shopping locales. I would highly reccomd this property.

The vacation home was well appointed and equipped. The only item missing was a cork screw. The location is fantastic (within walking distance of the ski lifts, restaurants and shops). There is even a ski rental shop located in the base of the building, which was very convenient. The service from Great Western was very professional. We had a plumbing problem which was quickly addressed and rectified.

Stayed in a one bedroom condo. Very comfortable, excellent location to both main street and ski lifts. Fully furnished, full kitchen, very nice. Parking garage a little tricky.

I haven't rented many condo's before, but it was very nice. No view of the slopes, but a nice view of the town. The only negative was that the heating/cooling units for the building next door were right below this unit and with it being summer and the windows open, it was a little loud. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and the closeness of shops and dining choices.

I almost want to give bad reviews so no one finds out about this well priced awesome condo unit. the view was beautiful. the location awesome (near a bunch of shops and restaurants, rental place right in the building). the condo itself is furnished very nicely. tv in the living room and bedroom. the kitchen appliances are well stocked, my only complaint is that it was missing a muffin pan (random, I know). actually thats not true, i wish the water pressure was a little better, but my expectations are low at that altitude. anyway i am definitely staying there next time i return.

We had been coming to Breck both winter and summer for many years but always for a week or less. We decided to spend a month in late summer to lower the pace of the stay. The Park Avenue Loft was the perfect choice. Being in the middle of the village made everything close. The condo had everything we needed, fast internet, good tv/vcr, a pleasant deck. It was well equipped for living our normal life style. We biked, hiked, played golf, and shopped all at a gentle, relaxed pace and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Breck. We hope to repeat the experience as soon as summer 09.
