Park Avenue Lofts 301 - 2bd/2ba - Breckenridge condominium rentals

Park avenue 301 is a nice little loft with good views and in a great location. Unfortunately, it just had too many disappointments for my party of 4. First is that they don't tell you this is a 2 story loft. The Mstr bedroom and bath are upstairs. Last thing my legs feel like doing after long days on the slopes is climbing stairs. For us, the private hotub was a huge draw to this property, however, it was also a huge disappointment. The private hotub is very small and shallow. Very tight squeeze for 4 adults. It is also very shallow, so your chest and shoulders stick out. Not good in 20 degree cold weather! But, the biggest disappointment was the beds. After a hard day on the slopes, you need a very comfortable bed. Both beds in unit 301 are old and firm. No one in my party slept good. The Sofa and two chairs in the living room are worn out. Kitchen is very small. Don't like the ski locker locations. You have to take the elevator down to floor P1, then load skis back into the elevator to go up to 1st floor. I like to review positives as well and this little loft has some good to it as well. The fireplace was very nice and warm. The loft is heated through radiant heat in the floors, so that is always nice. Cozy warm floors! Free Wi-Fi. Washer and dryer in unit was nice. Overall, just average. Unfortunately, the disappointments were big ones.

It was close to the Village, Could walk to everything with ease. Well equipt,kitchen has everything you would need, loved having washer and dryer too. Clean, comfortable. Loved the private Hot tub on the deck roof, We were there in late march and I must say that it was a bit warm in the Condo, even with the heat off, the sun coming through the windows made the place heat right up, had to open windows for cooling off! Very dry climate and heat as well, so definately needed humidifiers. Did not like that you had to go up and down so many stairs to put skiies in lockers. you had to walk across the street to get to ski lift, but was not a huge distance, and this time of year was quiet, so not much traffic to contend with.

We stayed in this exact condo a few years ago, and while it remains a nice unit in a good building in a great location, things are starting to deteriorate - it needs an update. The kitchen is poorly stocked compared to other places we have stayed. Also, this is a two story unit and the upstairs bedroom is like an oven. We couldn't figure out how to get it cooler, so we slept with the windows open. It is hot and dry up there. Otherwise it is pretty nice, and the location can't be beat.

Great combination of Location and Views. Reasonable prices. Second stay at this property. Look forward to future visits.

Trip started with an easy to find check in location. Unloading was easy as well. Garage door is kinda tight for the SUV we had. Just had to fold mirrors in.No big deal. Parking was close to elevator and ski storage. The building is clean and secure. The condo was perfect for us. Plenty of space and very well kept. We even had a friends from Colorado Springs come and stay a couple of nights. The kids (8 thru 13, 4 total) slept on the fold out and an air bed. Still plenty of adult room left. The hot tub was clean and offerd a great source of relaxation after a full day of skiing. The view is unabstructed mountains and slopes. An awsome way to start and end each day. Libby from GWL set up the ski rental. This was less than a 100 yard walk from the front door. Staff at the rental was very helpful. 12yr. old son switched from snow board to ski several times with no problem or extra fee. Ski lift for peak 9 is same place. Close enought to walk in ski boots with an 8yr. old in tow and no complaining. Both kids did the ski school and loved it! Highly recommend. There is a wide range of terrain just at Peak 9. Enough to keep the whole family in a close enough area to let the young ones enjoy some independence. Dad can ski black, Mom blue, and kids do the terrain parks. We were in phone range and would meet at the many lifts after runs. What a place to ski! Powder in the am, and well groomed. Dress warm. It can get chilly when it gets windy or overcast. Washer and dryer in the condo got a work out. With airline luggage costs. We traveled light and did laundry at the end of the day. Worked out well for us. Shopping and night life were right out the door also. Casa mia is right next door, and the Irish pub and Bubba Gumps are just down the street. All were good and the kids loved the food. Mom's took full advantage of all the shopping that is close by.

Could not have had a better view of mountains and access of sking with kids. Just a few steps to the ski school for the little ones and lifts for the older ones!ha. Walked to rent skis, to get delicious food choices, and certainly for goood shopping. Super location. We all loved the private hot tub out on our own private balcony. Wonderful large bathroom upstairs in master room and plenty of room downstairs w/other bedrm, bath, living and kitchen areas. Loved the whole experience.

There were six of us staying at the Park Avenue Lofts and we ALL enjoyed the time there: LOTS of room, the HOT TUB- sooooo relaxing after a day of skiing and the kids had never been in one, and the location was wonderful with 2 kids in tow - right across from the Quicksilver lift and ski school. I liked that the master bedroom was upstairs with its own bath - very roomy and large - and gave us some quiet time away from the little ones, too. VERY sound proof. We have already told several friends where we stayed and highly recommended Great Western Lodging for the perfect place to stay. THANKS so much for making our "1 time a year ski trip" to Colorado so memorable.

This was our second stay at Park Ave Lofts. This time we were in a two bedroom condo #301. It was located on the corner with a private hot tub. Can't beat this completx, its directly across the street from Peak 9 Quicksilver Super 6, a VERY short walk to Main Steet and a short dirve to the grocery store. I would suggest this condo to anyone!! The room was clean and well supllied, all was in working order and all necessities were provided. Will definitely stay again on our next rip to Breck!! The condo was clean, cozy and offered a great view -- especially from the patio/hot tub that overlooked the mountain. We also liked the fact that the kitchen was completely equipped so that we didn't have to eat all of our meals out. The kitchen has everything one needs -- a crockpot, coffee maker, knives, an oven roaster, a toaster -- to prepare three healthy squares a day (and a grocery store less than a mile away has very fresh produce and meats) The location was amazing -- right across the street from the ski lift (a very, very short walk away). It was also a very short walk (1/2 block) to Mainstreet and all of the bars and restaurants downtown. Lastly , it was a short and pleasant drive to several other area ski lifts, i.e., Copper, Keystone, Aspen... My only two gripes are the mattresses were not as soft as I prefer and there was no daily housekeeping services. However, the staff more than made up for that as they were extremely friendly and accomodating in every way possible. I highly recommend your stay at the Park Avenue Lofts.

We have stayed at the Park Avenue Lofts several times over the past few years. Its walking distance to everything and has every amenity you could ever want or need. I highly recommend you try it out!!

The location is outstanding, very close to the lift and shopping. The draw back to the great location was the noise at night due to the snow plow trucks clearing the public parking lot. The unit was very clean. The living room is slightly small and could use newer furniture. Otherwise, the unit was well furnished. The view from the deck and hot tub is outstanding!

WE LOVED OUR EXPERIENCE AT THIS LOCATION. NEVER BOTHERED, RELAXING W/ A GREAT VIEW. ALSO THERES EVERYTHING AROUND SO A GREAT LOCATION. I RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE. I WOULD LOVE TO STAY AGAIN

The location is very good if you want close lift access. We really enjoyed the hot tub, too, the view from there was fantastic! The beds were comfortable, kitchen was great. I wish there had been a TV in the upstairs bedroom, but that's my only complaint.

There are a lot of choices in the resort business today. Park Avenue Lofts and Great Western Lodging have it all. The attention the detail, experienced staff and overall treatment has been outstanding. It makes you want to comeback time after time. I would recommend Park Av and Great Western Lodging to anyone. O, did I tell you about the view and things to do? I recommend the mine tour out on Airport road. Our professor and guide was outstanding. (Summer only)
