Vacation Rental Summary
This is a comfortable 3br/2.5ba condo close to the Quicksilver lift and Main Street in Breckenridge. We had a great trip. There are TVs in the LR and MBR, we also enjoyed the gas fireplace in the LR. There are ample dishes and silverware in the kitchen, this unit would easily accommodate a large family. I have rented from Great Western several times in the past, always gotten good service from them.
Convenient to everything. Great price for location. Wish our bed was better. Information said that it had a grill, but we couldn't find one. Hiking trials outside your door. Reserved parking.

Concerning the grill, please let us know where you saw the information about there being a grill, as we want to be sure that the information about a grill is removed. I double checked our website, www.gwlodging.com, but did not see anything listed there. It is important to us that the correct details about the property are provided, so want to update anything not right. Thank you in advance for sending over that information.

Accomodations were fine. Pretty basic, but appropriately priced. Very good location with an easy walk to Quicksilver lift. Biggest complaint was the television which was horrible. Horrible.
We had a beautiful condo. We have two children and we were considering a two bedroom for our Labor Day weekend trip. However, we found out that our sister-in-law and two small children (who reside in Denver) were going to be alone for the holiday weekend. We thought it might be so much more expensive to upgrade, but it was only about $25 to go from the two bedroom up to the three bedroom, and what a great decision. The condo had plenty of space for four children (all under the age of 6) and enough bathrooms for all 3 adults! We had a very clean, extremely well-equiped condo. We almost felt like it was our own home for the 5 days we were there. Our only problem was that when we contacted them, we requested an earlier check-in. We had a scheduled appointment in town at a certain time, and we, and our two small children, just wanted to freshen up after our long drive. We were told that it would be no problem. When we were an hour away, we called to confirm the address of the property management company. They realized they had the owners of the condo staying that weekend. We ended up getting into the condo about 2 hours after we arrived, but we were still early for the regular check-in. They did a great job of fixing the problem. This just goes to show that our whole experience was perfect. From the beautiful river out of our balconies, the two block vicinity to down town, the fast problem-solving by the management company, and the town itself!
The unit was very clean and very well equipped. We were a family of six and there was plenty of dishes, glasses, cookware, etc. In addition, our unit had board games, puzzles, reading material, dvd's. It was perfect! My only suggestion would have been to add a few more roles of toilet paper to the supply. :)
We rented this condo because we wanted to be close to the lifts since we were visiting with my sister's family that included two teenage girls and our 16 month old daughter. It was so convenient to be able to walk to the lifts and take turns staying with the baby! Another bonus was the closeness of town. We walked everywhere! The lifts are just over the bridge, and if you pay close attention when skiing down, you can take a shortcut through the trees and ski right over the bridge to get back to the condo even faster! Another bonus to the closeness is the view of fireworks and the torch parade on New Years Eve. Don't bother going outside into the cold to watch the fireworks... stand on the balcony and stay warm!!! The layout of the condo is fantastic, with a nice large kitchen stocked with everything you need to fix your meals and clean up! We loved the fireplace to warm up after skiing and the bedrooms are set down the hall so those who want to stay up late won't disturb the others. Each bedroom has a humidifier in the closet, so you don't need to bring your own from home, and there are plenty of towels, etc! The washer and dryer in the unit makes it so nice to be able to wash clothes anytime you need. (Bring your own laundry soap though!) We loved the accomodations and the service we got from the wonderful young lady in the office when we checked in. Definitely recommend this condo for a nice, relaxing family vacation!
It was the best experience we have ever had in Breckenridge. The staff was attentive to our needs and the accomadations were impeccable. We will difinitely stay here everytime we return to Breckenridge.
This property in Breckenridge is next door to the Marriott on Maggies Pond and on the river that flows into it. It is a short walk to downtown and the swimming pool and hot tub is a short block away. The unit is exceptional and there are two decks, one off the dining area and the other from the master bedroom. I tried to rent this unit again this past summer but it was allready rented. This is a peaceful side of Breckenridge in the summer and I hope it is available next summer when I'm back in the mountains.
We just spent four wonderful nights at Powerhorn 201 and had a wonderful time. This was our first visit to Breckenridge and we just loved it. Everything was in order when we arrived, and we were pleased to learn that the pictures online matched the home. It's actually nicer than the pictures! We'd definitely recommend this house - especially if you're bringing kids and want to spend a lot of your vacation skiing. We cooked, the grill outside worked great. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations. Everything was perfect. Thank you for a great trip. We will be back!
