Vacation Rental Summary
The location is great for access walking to downtown and plenty of parking. Quiet and rest full week with our family. Great service and view.
Traditionally decorated condo w/ Western themes, close to everything and with smart layout for a smaller place. Very pleased for the price. Would stay here again.
Would highly recommend this unit for any family with 2 to 4 children. It is very nice. Updated. Comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pans, appliances. Perfect location. You can hike right out the back door or walk to main street in just a few minutes. Also has a great view out a huge window. Could sleep more if you want to fold out the sleeper sofa. The tourist info provided in the unit by Great Western is very helpful.
Very nice condo, good location, helpful people. Next to the Marriott Montain Valley Lodge on Maggie Pond on the South end of Breck.
We have stayed at Powderhorn several times and always been pleased. This particular condo was so very nice and comfortable. Large, nice view, nice furniture and an underground parking spot.
Was great. Place was super nice in a perfect location and a good price.
With the exception of the unit being located on the second floor the location is excellent and the view of the mountains from the living room is superb. The walking distance from the unit to the Quicksilver lift is very short and it only takes a short walk to reach Main Street. The unit was very nicely furnished and the kitchen is well outfitted. Overall, it was one of the nicest units we've rented in Breckenridge.
Have rented from Great Western several times and been very happy. We were a little disappointed with Powderhorn a204. The stools in both bathrooms were dirty and the rugs in the kitchen looked dirty. My husband and I thought the condo was starting to show some wear and tear. Would not recommend staying at the Powderhorn a204.

After hours check-in procedure from GWL was great, place was clean and comfortable
We enjoyed our stay with a few exceptions in the unit: kids bathroom had no cold water coming through faucet in sink, our toilet "ran" endlessly and was a bit annoying to sleep with constant dripping (we shut the door). Also, kids room smelled like mildew -maybe the sheets or comforters? The views were great, place was well stocked for cooking and very cozy.

Our stay was great. I made this reservation on the day we were arriving. The staff at Great Western Lodging was very helpful and they made certain the unit was ready when we arrived. This unit is very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. We liked this location because it is in a quieter area of Breckenridge. There is a nice area to walk down by the water too.
Nice Condo Great View could use a little updating on countertops and furnishings. All the throw rugs need to be removed i tripped several times on them and luckly did not hurt myself
We love the location of the Powderhorn condos. Two blocks from the south end of main street which makes it easy to come and go with two young kids! Hiking is right outside the door! This is definitely one of our favorite places we have stayed in Breck.
We had a fabulous time during our stay in Breckenridge. The accomodations were outstanding and the service was top notch. When my children locked BOTH sets of our condo keys in the room (after hours), Great Western Lodging had maintenance there within 15 minutes to unlock the room for us. We are definitely coming back again and will use Great Western Lodging for sure. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
This is the second year we have stayed at Powderhorn, although not the same unit. The first unit spoiled us - we did not have the conveniences this time (washer/dryer) and an extra room. But, for convenience to the slopes - absolutely great. And walking distance to town.
Every morning was simply beautiful. I sat by the fireplace in front of the picture window looking across the Quicksilver lift and up to peaks 9, 8, and 7. It is a great location just 1 minute walk across a footbridge to the base of peak 9 and the Maggie. Beautiful, fully equiped kitchen, dining, living, and again, that picture window. Easy access to above ground or underground parking. From the condo, take the elevator to the underground garage, exit one door, go down a short set of steps, and its a very easy walk to the Quicksilver lift. Ski and board rentals are available at the base of peak 9 or at the Marriott, just next door and on the way to the lift. Our check in was afterhours and everything went perfectly. The keys were available just as we were told they would be at the Great Western office. Our checkout was early in the morning before the Great Western office opened and the key drop was easy. The Great Western staff was just that, GREAT! in every way. We will definitely be back to Breckenridge and Great Western.
This is an awesome unit! Furnishings are first class and the kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly want. There's also Wi-fi in the unit that worked very well for our two laptops. Rental includes underground parking. Location is a short walk to the lifts at Peak 9 and you can ski back. It's also an easy walk downtown. The ski shop at the Marriott next door offers great discounts for ski rents. We will definately try to rent this unit again.
My husband and I looked and looked for accommodations for our destination wedding in CO. We wanted to keep everyone together but didn't want to stay in a hotel. I looked online and saw good rates from Great Western Lodging, I called to see what they had available and Cole was able to help me out! We had friends in Village Point 319 and family in Village Point 309. We stayed a little closer to the slopes at Powderhorn A204 but a quick walk (less than a 1/2 mile) to the Townhouses. This worked out GREAT since the townhouses were right across from each other! I enjoyed the walk to town but for those that didn't there was a bus stop nearby. We were told at check in that there was a problem with the hot tub in one of the units but was reimbursed as noted in the agreement, they were able to get it working a few days before we left. 309 was recently remodeled before our arrival and was beautifully decorated and lots of extras. 5 couples stayed in this unit, so everyone had a room with a bed since we used the "den". Great big dinning table too. 319 was very nice too and was able to accommodate more people with two sets of bunks in one of the rooms, great for the kids and singles that made it out! Both of the townhouses had garages which were great for ski/board storage and washers/dryers to wash towels. The Powderhorn A204 condo was a short walk over the bridge to the slopes. This unit was nicely decorated with a Western theme. Powderhorn units had ski/board storage right outside the door. Everyone had a great time! I am grateful for Cole's help in finding a place for everyone to stay! I'm ready to go back and would definitely recommend these units and the staff at Great Western Lodging!
This was an excellent rental for our family (2 children ages 6 and 10). Easy access to town and right on the Blue River. Very well maintained condo with everything needed for cooking available. Highly recommended.
Fabulous condo...great location, nice facility. The only complaint we have is with the management...they never responded to our calls to fix the internet service which was supposed to be included in the property. They never apologized for the inconvenience or anything. But the condo itself was nice and Breckenridge was fun.
