Powderhorn C102 - 2bd/2ba - Breckenridge Colorado Vacation Condos
This two bedroom condominium is one of our best values in-town, and it's close to everything. Only 200 yards from the 6-person Quicksilver chair lift, it is an easy 3-4 minute walk to the lift each day. When you're not skiing, it's just two blocks from the heart of downtown Breckenridge. This condo is highlighted with contemporary furnishings and an open living area and dining room. It has been recently updated with flat screen TVs in the living room and master bedroom. Guests really love the serenity of the quiet wooded backdrop and the nearby mountain stream in the summer. This spacious Breckenridge condo also offers guests access to the Columbine pools and hot tubs located across the street from the complex.

Thank you for your review of Powderhorn #C102! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.
I will have maintenance check out the carpet and will share with the owner to note the mattress condition in the 2nd bedroom, as well as the need for a landline phone. It looks like the television in the 2nd bedroom has been removed, as it is in the pictures, but I have updated the description to only list the flat screen televisions in the living room and master bedroom - Thank you for noting!
Please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge!

I stayed at the Powderhorn condos for 4 nights in late February with four friends from college (we are now in our late twenties). We booked our trip through SnowVentures and had a really pleasant experience. The condo was spacious, clean and comfortable. The only thing I would say is that calling it "ski on" might be a tad generous - you have a to hike through a small forrest, over a bridge and up a small hill. The "ski in" is easy though. Overall, we loved it so I can't really complain! Easy walk to town too.
Dear Alice -

Great information on how Powderhorn should be classified and we completely agree. We describe Powderhorn as a “Walk to Lift” property, as you are correct that the property is not “Ski-in / Ski-out”. I will also follow up with SnowVentures, as I believe they also call Powderhorn as a “Walk to Lift”, but I will definitely double check on that.
Your review of your stay in Powderhorn #C102 is greatly appreciated and please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge!

The condo was very comfortable and spacious. Powderhorn was very close the slopes and a 5 minute walk to the Quicksilver lift.
I felt like the condition of the condo was dated and needs to be updated. The pool and hot tub situation (the fact that it was across the street in another complex) should be better explained as part of the rental process. The rental website said there was a grill available as well but that was not the case. It was OK but not great.
We arrived after hours. We located the keys where we were instructed. We found the rental unit clean and conveniently located to downtown Breckenridge.
This is our second time staying at the Powderhorn. The place we stayed at this time was very clean & very stylish. The furniture was very comfortable & you had all the dishes to cook with. It is a ski in/ski out & close walking to the main part of town & restaurants. You will not be disappointed.
The condo was very clean and well maintained. The toilet in the master bedroom was in the process of being repaired and did leak. The location to the slopes was convenient although 125 yards with ski boots on at the end of the day is still a long way! (43 steps up to be exact!). The drawback is that it is not convenient to the restaurants and nightlift of Breck. You need a car for sure. It was a great experience and I do recommend it.
We share the property with a friend, and find 2 bedrooms and bathrooms ideal. This is a very quiet location with a running stream just behind the unit. The surrounding homes and other units are beautiful with lush grounds. A short walk will take you down to the main part of town. We always expierence a great time there and the kitchen and laundry area are a great help to have. We have been back there several times and hope to return again.
This was our second year in a row to stay at this property and in the same room. We absolutely love going to Breckenridge in the summer and Powderhorn is the perfect place for us. We are just a comfortable walk from anywhere we want to be in Breckenridge. The complex is quiet and very peaceful and we can hear the creek rushing by outside our patio. The room itself has always been comfortable, clean and peaceful. We have always had very successful and courteous assistance with Great Western Lodging and again, would highly recommend their company/properties. Enjoy your future stay at any of the Grest Western properties!
We loved being so close to the Quicksilver lift. We could hit the slopes as a family, come "home" for lunch/rest and hit the slopes again for the afternoon. It also meant that we could each come home as individually whenever we wanted - not having to wait for the whole group to tire out. The walk to the pool and hot tub wasn't bad. Don't forget your flipflops. We were also quite close to town, groceries, etc. We look forward to our next visit.
