The property is adjacent to the Blue River and provides relaxing forested views. Vacation Rental Summary
The unit was in lovely condition, far better than we expected from the rating system we'd seen. The four of us (2 couples) felt right at home and appreciated the layout and extremely comfortable furnishings. The location was very close to Peak 9 skiing and the ski rental shops. It was a little too far to walk to dinner and grocery shopping, but we had a rental car so it wasn't an issue. I absolutely recommend staying here and thought it was an excellent value for the price. Our recent stay at Powderhorn was great! The location was so convienent to Breckenridge skiing!! The rental shop was just around the corner, and gearing up to ski couldn't have been any better. We did have a few issues with the rental and wished that the cooking pans were updated, but Jessica Deangelis quickly had a maintenance guy come over and make quick repairs! Can't wait to return, we always enjoy our stay in Breckenridge.
The unit was clean and well equipped. However, the guest bath shower head holder was broke, the master toilet seat was broke, various lights in the kitchen, entry hall, living room, and bedrooms were burned out. These type of issues should never occur. We did call and get some of the issues resolve, but not all. In my opinion, if a property is being managed by a management company and these type of issues occur, then I do not feel the management company is doing their job. Hopefully the management team will take a closer look in the future to ensure this does not happen to anyone else.

The condo is very spacious for a 2 bedroom. Also, this was my 2nd time to stay in this condo. There were a couple of problems. The cable didn't work for majority of our stay. Which during Thansgiving, means I missed some football games. It took several calls over 3 days to finally get it resolved. The coffee maker didn't work either, which I never brought up to the management company. I would stay at this location again, just would make sure cable and coffee maker worked.

I have contacted the Maintenance Department to make sure the coffee maker is fixed or replaced and they are double checking that the cable is now working as well. I apologize about the cable issues over the Thanksgiving Holiday and we have also followed up with housekeeping to make sure they are checking the cable on all TV’s in the units as part of their pre-arrival inspection.

Nice quiet location with convenient parking within easy walking distance of downtown.
We enjoyed a great week of vacation in this unit. We left the doors and windows open to hear the creek flowing outside our back patio. We had a family of 6 in the unit. It was a little tight at times with only 2 bathrooms, but we were very comfortable overall and spent most of our time outdoors anyway.
A great condo on a great mountain. The condo was ready when we arrived and were able to get in immediately. The management group was very helpful with booking and answering quetions. Our family stayed here for 5 days and the condo had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed having the fireplace to warm up the room and to provide ambiance. We cooked in the condo most nights, which wasnt a problem with the fully equipped kitchen. It has everything you will need. The condo is about a 5 minute walk (in ski boots)to the peak 9 lift. It is also very close to town. You dont need a car if you stay at this place.
Powder Horn is a very nice condominium complex on the blue river in Breckenridge, very well kept easy access to downtown and surrounding areas under ground secure parking assigned stalls, , we have been staying with Great western Lodging for nearly 20 years and highly recommend the properties. Staff very helpfull. We have never had a problem of signifigance with any of our visits.
Place was nice and we had a great time. Will be back again.
Heidi helped us select just the right accommodations we were looking for: comfortable, contemporary, quiet, and close to Downtown Breckenridge. This unit was all that and more. It worked perfectly for two couples. We had the creek out our deck and a well equipped kitchen. We look forward to coming back here next time!

We spent 5 days with an 8, 10, and 12 year old. The amount of space was perfect, it was nice to have the big kitchen to make some meals and save some $, and the location was great with just a short walk to Main St. We were at the pool every day and we the only people there most of the time. I wouldn't change a thing.
While very nice, the bedrooms were significantly smaller than the pictures allowed. I would not recommend anymore than two adults and one child stay here for a week, unless they are small children. Our teenager was cramped!
Our unit was ready when promised. Check-in was easy. Unit was clean, comfortable, great location and well furnished. Will stay here again and will use Great Western Lodging to book this unit in the future. Great value for the money. Great value for a family vacation. Great to stay this close to the mountain/lifts (Ski in ski out). Unit was clean with all the furnishings. All you need to do is take your food. Will be back next year.
This is our 3rd trip to Breck and this by far was the best accommodations that we have had. The value compared with others was great. The unit was close to slopes, updated, clean and furnishings were very comfortable. We would stay here again or in any of the other units at the complex. This is our 2nd rental with Great Western and it has always been a good experience. Rent this unit and you will not be sorry!
