Okay place to stay. Older units. Needs updating. But the room was okay. It's a place to sleep. Very convenient to the Snowflake lift. It is literally outside the door of the condos. Great underground, heated parking garage. About a half mile walk to Main Street with tons of great restaurants and shops. Breck is a great mountain town and great skiing. Usually has more snow than the other Summit County resorts. Pricing for this place is higher than it should be. For a studio, it should be more like $150 per night.

We joined family for a reunion and wanct to have another one here. We stayed for six nights. It was a little toastier than we thought it would be by bedtime, but the fans really helped. The bathtub and shower is very nice, but for older people it can be a little hard to get into because of the height due to the whirlpool. Nicely decorated. Had a wonderful experience with a special necklace. Searched for it and left without it. Told the front desk. Two days later had a call the necklace had been found when cleaning. Very impressed and pleased!

Snow was bad, accomodations were good

I generally stay across the street at Tyra, but I like Riverbend. I was in unit 209 and found the temp issues to be a real problem. As is posted on the wall, open window if you get hot and start fire place if you get cold. Wasn't real happy about that, but the location is good.

    Dear Jeff –

Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed.

I have forwarded the information on to the maintenance department to check out the heating situation with the unit and make sure all is working properly.

Thank you again for the information on Riverbend Lodge #209 and please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge!

Not bad, not great, just a basic condo complex with basic amenities. The unit was nicely appointed but small and stuffy.

Very nice building, we received wonderful service from Great Western. Needed a fan and the hot water was not working. We got an immediate response. The unit was nice, but a little odd. Only the two windows and if we hadn't a fan it would have been unbearable. Very clean and very warm and inviting.

    Beautiful place to stay

Riverbend lodge was a lovely place to stay - clean and spacious with a large parking garage. A pretty easy walk from downtown Breckenridge, though it is quite uphill on the way back. Our only complaint would be that due to the layout of the room (bedroom area was not anywhere near the window) and the fact that there was no air conditioning, my husband was too hot at night and ended up having to sleep on the pull-out couch in the living area. There was a box fan to use, but it just wasn't enough for him. I was fine temperature-wise in the bedroom, but if you get hot easily, this is certainly something to think about during the summer months. However, this was overall a great place to stay.

We came to hike and discover this part of Colorado.

Room was very clean, well appointed, comfortable, quiet and well located. We walked to the grocery store, restaurants and hiking trails. I was very pleasantly surprised.

Nice, but don't use the gas logs...

This was my second stay at Riverbend (different unit) and we had the same problem with the heat that we had last time. If you turn on the gas logs, the place ends up feeling like a sauna. We actually slept with the windows open every night (even when we didn't use the gas logs). Otherwise, I really like this place! Lots of room, comfy bed, huge bathtub, and perfect location to slopes while still close to town!

Great time in a Great Place

We loved Breckenridge and our home away from home, Riverbend 209. We particularly liked the covered parking and well kept facility. We were close to all that Breckenridge offered and enjoyed being with others of our group who stayed there too. We like the balconies but would have like to have airconditioning. It still can get warm in Colorado. Everyone was very helpful and we look forward to seeing you again next year.

    Great Value near the slopes

Having never skiied in Colorado, we were looking for a nice Condo that was near the slopes and we found a great place when we chose Riverbend. It was close to the slopes and we enjoyed our stay. The only issue we had was with the indoor hot tub. The chlorine was so bad by mid week, we all had rashes and had to stop going. The condo is roomy and the fireplace is wonderful!
