Great staff service, very informed, personable and responsive to needs. This particular studio unit at Riverbend (#212) is well furnished and very comfortable. Spent one extra night in the studio unit next door (#210) which was not as well furnished.

A fantastic apartment close to the Snowflake lift and a short walk from 4 o'Clock run. Room was clean and warm with all the amenities we expected. A 10 minute walk to Main Street. (You can use the free shuttle bus until you get used to the thin air at altitude, it stops 50 yards from the front door) Our only critisism of the apartment was that the waste in the bath backed up and although we complained about it early in the holiday nothing appeared to be done to overcome the problem.
Dear David -
Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.
I have shared this with the maintenance department to find out what happened with the drain backing up and it looks like even though they came by with Drano a couple of times, the drain continued to get blocked up. They should have left a note each time they came by, so I will follow up and make sure they are leaving notes about the status of issues like this one for guests to see.

It was very warm in the unit when we stayed in august. It was nice overall, but was very small cook area. Also, the jets in the tub had yucky stuff some out of them when I ran them. Jumped out of tub immediately!! Lesson learned...never use jets if not in your own home. The location was great.
Dear Summer Guests -
Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.
I have forwarded this on to our Maintenance and Housekeeping Departments to check out the jets, as there should definitely not be anything but water coming out of them. We will also look into the warmth of the unit and make sure there are fans available for air circulation.

The unit is small but comfortable and convenient. It is located next to the Snowflake lift and next door to a ski shop that can rent you skis or service the ones you bring. Riverbend Lodge also is an easy walk to downtown Breckenridge and is located next to a bus stop so it is easy to get around. The unit also is well stocked with kitchen items so it's easy to buy groceries and prepare some of your meals in the unit. The only downside is that the unit is small and has little storage space for your clothes and ski gear (a small secure storage closet is provided in the garage area for your skis, poles, etc., and that helps). There was just enough room for my wife and me. It may be possible to squeeze four people into the unit with the fold-out couch, but it would be very tight. My overall impression is that this is a very good place to stay for a couple that wants easy and convenient access to the slopes.

I have forwarded the information on to the owner of Riverbend Lodge #210 to see about adding a dresser to the unit for added clothes storage.

The room was extremely hot, hot, hot.Had to sleep with the windows open when it was 32 outside!!! Room advertised with full kitchen - it did not have one. Advertised each unit had a washer/dryer. The building had one but not the unit. Luckily we made do so these things did not stop us from having a great time but need to be addressed.

Everything was nice but the sleeper sofa mattress along with the bedding to go with was quite disgusting!!! Should be checked by the department of health. Also charging a 16% sales tax when other property management only charges 11 was ridiculous. Will not rent from GWL again.

Love staying at Riverbend with Snowflake lift just outside door. Also we came back to condo for lunch. Ski in /lift out! Heated garage huge since we drove. Great place to stay, have stayed before, will stay again.

Overall, this is a decent place. It was just me and another guy. He slept on the bed, I got the sofa sleeper. Would be perfect for a couple, or maybe parents with 1-2 kids. No more than 2 kids for sure. Its just not big enough. There was a little fridge and a small stove top, so you could cook, if you wanted...but that's too much hassle for me. Right next door to the Snowflake lift, so easy lift access. My only negatives - I wasn't a big fan of their hot tub situation. They have 2, 1 indoor and 1 outdoor, but they are both old and neither is that big. Once 5 adults were in it, it was at capacity. This is probably room specific, but our sofa sleeper was damaged and made for uncomfortable sleeping. The lodge tried to accommodate us by providing an air mattress, but the 1st one they gave us had leaks, so I didn't get a decent night sleep until the 3rd night. In summary - Good close to lifts spot, too far to walk to town. Price is low, but room is comparable to the price. If your main focus is skiing and not partying or shopping. This is a great place to do that and not spend too much.

The condo is nice and it is quiet. The ski-in chair-out experience was absolutely awesome. I would book this condo again definitely.

My 2 college boys and I were so suprised when we walked in our condo! We were expecting a larger hotel room and was greeted with a beautiful home. Sharing one bath was not as bad as we feared since they have the tub and sink in one bathroom and the toilet and another sink in a seperate bathroom. The shuttle system was easy to use and everyone was very helpful. Before our first day was over, the boys had me promise that we will do this again in 2 years when it is our time to have Christmas together again. Thanks for being a part of our "new normal" for our re-structured family! Margaret J.
