This Breckenridge condo is great for groups! With the specific bedding arrangements it has, you really do have a great choice here. After a long day on the mountain, relax in front of the stone gas fireplace or in the indoor hot tubs. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, free Wi-Fi, washer and dryer in the unit as well as a covered parking space at Sawmill Creek. Take advantage of the shared grill on the patio, and how close this complex is to all the restaurants and shops. Just one block away from Main Street Breckenridge, it is nice walk to town to explore all of what we have.

Vacation Rental Summary
We always love to stay in the Sawmill Creek condos. Have done it many times over many years. This particular unit may be ready for some updates. It was hot in august, so would have been nice to have some fans.

One block from Main Street could not have been a better location to stay during Breck's Oktoberfest. Check in and check out was an easy drop in at the office on Main Street, and then literally parked my car in the parking lot and walked everywhere the rest of the weekend. Condo was spacious and had a cute backyard, only wish we could have stayed longer.
The condo "appeared" clean at first glance, but was not. There were crumbs on the floor by one bed, cobwebs in a few places, other peoples trash left in the living room, splatters on the walls, lots of dust and dirt, but the worst was the medical needle found on the floor by the bed in the master bedroom. We were really disappointed. This is the first time we have had a negative experience with any Great Western Lodging properties. All others have been positive.
The collection of keys was easy and quick, the whole apartment was great but could probably do with an update but that didn't really matter as we were out most of the time skiing! Bus stop at end of drive, ski in at end of day so very convenient. Very good overall.
I love this place! It was an awesome place to stay..very big, very clean, all the ammenities. It was wonderful except for the king size bed which slept like a diving board. Springs were digging into me all night. So did not rest well, but otherwise you could not beat the location, the size, the convience, etc... and the other beds slept well, but not the king :(
Great Western Lodging was great to work with, matched a competitors lower price, and worked with us to find a substitute rental when the original was no longer available. The condo was comfortable for our young family with patio access for the kids to play in the yard. For a summertime vacation, the home is hot... felt like in-floor heating was on with no temperature control. The location and price were our selling points. It is one block from the river walk... Perfect for a morning jog or walk after dinner.
The condo was in a great location, and you could ski down 4 O'Clock run right to the door practically. The unit we stayed in was showing a little wear and tear. The unit was spacious and contained a lot of things we appreciated in the kitchen--pots, pans, etc. Our biggest complaint is that we had no maid service and didn't know about this beforehand. On the first day, we used all of our towels for the hot tub and showers and then had no way to get more unless you took a bus down to the management office, which closed early and you couldn't get there if you skied until the end of the day. I thought it was very unsanitary to have wet towels laying around the unit for 4 days. I also hated not having maid service and would have gladly paid a little more for it.
Condo was as advertised, Great Western was easy to work with from start to finish,with-in walking distance to downtown, and the tram and Grocery shopping.One would be able to stay at Sawmill with out the need to use a automobile to get around.
Property location was great, close to everything. Decor was very tasteful. Check in and out was prompt and courteous. Hot tubs were much appreciated after a day on the slopes. The refrigerator wasn't working when we arrived. We bought food and didn't realize it was broken, so some of our food spoiled. The dishwasher had a pool of stale, smelly water in it, and it wouldn't drain. The washing machine would not automatically go into spin cycle. On the plus side, when we called (on Sunday) for service the issues were dealt with quickly and without question.
This property was roomy, yet homey. It had everything we needed, and more, for our family reunion. The location was outstanding. Would recommend it highly, and would love to stay there again.
We stayed here the year before and the apartment has on the top corner floor and it was very nice and comfortable. It did not have locks on the master bedroom doors which I thought was strange! It is a ski-in place and the bus is right up front of the condo. Main Street is one block away, but the supermarket is pretty far if you are going to walk. This year we stayed there again and the apartment was on the bottom level and it was not as nice as the one we stayed the year before. The master bedroom which has the bathroom inside had two separate beds and the secondary bedroom with the bathroom on the hallway had a queen bed. I thought that was also strange. The view was not as nice, but we had a fox coming everyday trying to find food. The kids had a kick with that, they had never seen a fox upclose before! Next year we are staying in a different condo which is ski-in and ski-out!
The condo was very convient to Main street and the ski runs. However, the unit we stayed needed updating. The coffee pot for example was very old and used and dirty. The Saturday night we stayed there, there was a lot of partying and noise until wee hours of the morning in the complex. I did like the location.
Excellent location - the Oktoberfest 5K started and ended in the parking lot! I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in beautiful Breckenridge!
Stayed in two different units in the facility. Both provided all the amenities needed for a great ski vacatation. Near in location eases apre ski activities. Walk to most all the town of Breckenridge has to offer. Shuttle stop at door also a good feature of the location. Interiors clean, neat and comfortable. Would definitely consider for another stay.
