From 2/4/2013 through 2/11/2013 we stayed in Sawmill Creek Condo unit #206. You did an excellent job handling our reservations. However, the condo unit itself was shabby, poorly-maintained, dusty and dirty and not worth the $2,490.68 including taxes and insurance that we paid. All mattresses were worn out and sagging, all the bed blankets were torn and the bedding did not fit. The telephone did not work (but was replaced after 3 days). The linoleum flooring was loose in places, and a living area carpet strip was missing, leaving a sharp floor-to-carpet edge. The steam shower leaked through the threshold so that the wooden strip and the floor below the shower threshold were rotting. All the wooden furniture surfaces were scratched, chipped and rough and needed serious refinishing, the kitchen cabinet doors were grimy, and the kitchen and bathroom walls were dirty. Nearly every wall in the unit needed filling and repainting to cover holes, screws and marks. The kitchen window lacked a privacy shade, so people in other units passed beside the unit and looked directly into the kitchen and living areas. Many of the slats in the living area's vertical blinds were missing. The 2-bed bedroom's window did not close completely and its venetian blind was bent and mangled. The kitchen faucet fitting leaked and needed repair, and the sprayer was the wrong size for the fitting. The refrigerator lacked a door shelf, and the ice maker either did not work or was not connected to water. Great Western reservations have been great in past years, so we were very disappointed. But Great Western reimbursed us $200 and advised that the owners would be prompted to make repairs and improvements based on our complaints.

Our last two visits to Breckenridge we have stayed at Saw Mill Creek, and this time we were just as pleased. You just can't beat the loction. A quick walk to downtown or the gondola. Close to hiking and biking. Covered parking, great bike storage in garage. Only complaint was the floor above the master bedroom was very creaky (early risers lived above us). Would definitely stay here again.

The unit we were in needs updating - badly. The blinds were broken - only one TV worked (and were old) - the matresses were very uncomfortable - there was mold in the showers - and it was just not a vey comfortable place to stay for the price we paid. Also - when compared to a unit that our friends who travelled with us were staying in - that was updated - and was the same price - we were not real happy.

This was our first time in Breckenridge. We loved the town! The location of Sawmill Creek was pretty good. It was nice to be able to ski-in as everyone could make it home even if skiing on their own. We would have liked a ski-out location, but found the trade-off with being so close to town was nice. This particular unit needs new beds in the 2nd bedroom...very uncomfortable. Also, the bathrooms and kitchen need to be updated a bit. The carpet seemed clean and the newer sectional was a good choice for tired skiers.
