Vacation Rental Summary
The staff is great. The location is great. Only thing is each unit is furnished differently so you never know if you're getting an updated unit or not.
We spent a fabulous month in Breckenridge away for the heat that covered most of the country. We never had a day above 72 degrees. This complex, Sawmill Creek, with fantastic views of the mountains, is just a block for the heart of this lovely town and its fine selection of restaurants and shopping. Sawmill Creek is a short stroll from Riverwalk Center, where we attended a number of great concerts by the two resident orchestras, the National Repretory Orchestra, and the Breckenridge Music Festival Orchestra. Our condo was quite spacious and very comfortable. It provided excellent value. We have used Great Western many times over the past 12 years, and have found them easy to work with and very accommodating. They always meet our expectations.
The location was excellent being near town and the gondola. The condo was very nice and well maintained.
love the location. ski in at the end of the day down 4 oclock run is fantastic. the bus is easier than walking to the gondola. the sleeper sofa was broken and wouldn't open for a bed. generally the unit needs a bit of sprucing up.
The condo was lovely, everything they described. The staff at Great Western was very helpful and friendly. Be prepared to buy any necessary supplies such as laundry detergant and dish soap, that was the only negative. The only other negative was the internet connection, there was only one very long cord to use for connecting to the internet. Wireless would be a wonderful addition.
nicw place great for the kids, wood fireplace was greet. Ski down to condo was wonderful also. Had to take bus or drive to get to slopes though. But overall a great time!!! Great Western Lodging easy to work with also!!!
Awesome stay once again! the folks at Great Western Lodging were kind, courteous and accommodating while making arrangements as well as during the check-in / out process. The FlipKey powered website is great for checking lodging options and getting an accurate sense of what these places look like, well done FlipKey. The location of Sawmill Creek condos is perfect. The combination of shuttle out and ski in along with being within 2 blocks of main street works great, no need to deal with vehicles for the whole week (other than the short drive to City Market for groceries). We had 10 people so we rented units 309 and 310. The units were decorated nice and were very comfortable. The kitchens were outfitted well and the beds were comfy and cozy. We WILL be back to Sawmill Creek Condos next year.
I have rented many units in the Sawmill Creek property and Unit 310 was very nice. It is a very convenient property to catch the bus and the ski in from 4 O'Clock run is wonderful.
