Vacation Rental Summary
The appartment was Exelent, with all kind of appliances, and very clean. The Great Western Lodging personnel was efficient, they answer quickly to all my question prior my arrival.
Nice place and location. Just the right size for two people. Creek just outside was nice to listen to.
Ryan did an excellent job of moving us into a unit with Internet Service. He went above and beyond to assist us as my grandson had to have the computer. Excellent location.
My husband and I celebrated our one year anniversary with a fun weekend trip to Breck. Even though we weren't there to ski in June, it was obvious that Trails End is in an amazing location. Ski in/ski out, walk to town, would have been great for ski season. Great Western Lodging was a really great company to work with, we had no issues. However, if I would have thought to look at unit photos before I booked, I would not have chosen this unit. It is extremely outdated. The furniture, blankets, throw pillows...they all look/feel/smell like are 30 years old. I'm sure the decor in this condo would have been nice in 1986, but at this point, it was pretty disappointing. It was nice that the condo faced the creek rather than the parking lot. But that was the only upside to this particular unit.

After straightening out some confusion about the parking garage access (told a key would get us in but we did need the garage door opener!) we did have a great time! Maintenance/service was great and prompt altho they need to be more proactive about humidifier filter replacements, we were thankful they supplied humidifiers! Fireplace was nice and really warmed up the place. It was great to have locked ski & pole storage and a bargin at $0.25 a night. If only the snow was deeper...:) We loved being able to easily walk to Main Street and all the fun there. We'll definitely come back again!
Very good location for the lift, short walk about 30m and ski right back to the condo. Condo was comfortable and spacious enough for 2 people. Gwl very helpful in organising the stay.
Breck out did itself this trip. The conditions were amazing. Trails End may have the best location in Breck. We stayed there last year. The room was outdated at best. We came back this year hoping we would be pleasantly surprise by the room, it was worse than last year. We don't spend much time in the room so we will weigh out if the location is worth the dumpy accomadations before booking next year.
This condo was in a great location for children with the ski school and lift very close. For the price, I would have expected the condo to be more up-to-date. It was functional. There was no elevator access from the garage or a ground level floor which made hauling gear to the room difficult. At half the cost or less it may have been fine. Great location for Breckenridge though. Easy walk to Main Street.
This is our third year staying at Trails End. The first itme in room 212. Each time we enjoy the location and the accomodations. While the units are a bit older the location and value are excellent.
The price and location was great. We enjoyed our whole trip. The negative was the bed was very uncomfortable. And our toliet over flowed. We called the maintance department, it took them 3 hours to come and look at the toliet. There was water on the floor in the bathroom and some on the carpet outside the bathroom. I had to use our towels to clean up the water. Once the guy came to look, he didn't even clean up the water that was on the carpet, he said he was going to come back but never showed up. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.
Our Ski Vacation was on of the best ever. We stayed in a Ski In Ski Out on Peak Nine. Then Service from Great Western was as advertised and they did a great Job. Kenny Wilson
unit 212 is the best located unit. Steps from elevator that exits right to the slopes. The unit was dated but clean
The location of this condo was perfect -- it couldn't be more convenient. In the morning and after lunch, a 5-10 minutre from the condo door has you in line for the Peak 9 Superchair. After a tough day skiing, you can pole to within 50 feet of the complex door where the two hot tubs (indoor and outdoor) await you. The location was also convenient to town where a short walk takes you to many downntown restaurants and shops. Room 212 was certainly adequate for two adults, was very clean, and had good kitchen supplies and appliances. We did have a little trouble turning on the baseboard heater, but once we got it figured out, the place heated up nicely. Speaking of heat, the heated garage was a big plus. Great Western Lodging was great to work with. I recommend their services and plan to call them again when we return to Breckenridge.
enjoyed our stay, location was great! ski in and out perfect. One of the lifts in the apartment didnt work which was a little anoying when trying to leave at the end of the trip. Someone in our carpark at arrival was anoying as had to leave car outside and try and lug everything in. Overall apartment was great, big lounge and kitchen. Would stay again.
Condo was clean and well decorated. The only detractor about this condo (#212) was that it was right next door (opposite the bedroom wall) to the trash / laundry room and the elevator. At night the elvator noise (plus people coming and going at all hours of the night) was very annoying and resulted in lost sleep if you're a light sleeper I 'do not' recommend this condo. As usual, Great Western Lodging personnel were extremely helpful and friendly during the scheduling process as well as the check in / out process (this was our 5th stay).
Trails End is a perfect location for a Breckenridge ski vacation. The peak 9 superchair is within 200 feet of the property. You can ski in to within 50 feet of the door when you are finished. The accomodations are very good, not high luxury but excellent value and clean. The underground parking is a bonus when it is dumping snow outside. We love the sound of the stream right out the balconey and the beautiful natural wooded view. We have stayed at Trails End 4 times now and will be back again.
Trails End provides a great ski in/ski out location. The heated garage was a added convenience. The facility itself (Rm 212)was less than expected. The furniture took up a lot of space. Too many lamp/end tables in living room and bedroom. We had a few maintenance/housekeeping concerns. All in all, no matter what ski in/ski out is hard to beat.
I thought for the price range, you couldn't beat it, especially for someone who wants to ski a lot...ski in/out was so convenient...good indoor & outdoor hot tubs, walking distance to fun shops and good restaurants. Would stay there again for sure.
Close to slopes and town but was not updated. That was okay but, if your looking for a place to stay inside this was too crowded for a family of 4. Otherwise if you are there to ski like us it did not matter. Enjoy the location and go SKI!
