location is awesome...super close to slopes and town...they should do a better job at clearing the parking lot. too many snow drifts.
Dear Marc –
Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that the buildings are getting the attention needed.
I have forwarded the information on to the property manager of Trails End Condominiums to note the snow drifts and about getting the parking lot cleared, especially as we move into the busy Spring Break season.
Thank you again for the information on Trails End #308 and please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge!
Sincerely,

Working with Great Western Lodging was a very pleasurable experience. All staff was very helpful and able to answer all questions. Our unit was good for the rate we paid but I would not stay there again. We were 4 people (mu husband and I and 2 teenage boys). The boys slept on the pull out sofa which was fine but the unit was extremely cramped. The photos gave a much larger impression. Not enough space to keep our belongings (we only had one suitcase each). Furniture was comfortable but way too big for the unit leaving little space to maneuver around. My husband actually got bruises from navigating around the king size bed to get in and out of the room (only about a foot or so between the bed and the wall). The bathroom is in desperate need of repairs and upkeep. The ceiling above the shower is covered with mildew and although the rest of the bathroom is relatively clean, it is very old and just feels dirty. The kitchen was fine- could have used more plates, bake ware etc. but we managed. (No where to store our food either- we had to keep food on the counter tops).

This was our third time staying at a Gw-managed property in Breckenridge. Trails End 308 was clean, comfortable, quiet, convenient (walking distance to Main Street), and very reasonably priced for a ski-in, ski-out unit. Especially appreciated the firm mattress on the king-sized bed. We are never disappointed with Great Western's service. They even arranged for someone to dig out our snow-buried car.

Accommodations were fine but one experience ruined trip for me. This is my 5th and probably last one to Breckenridge. Was handed a sheet showing spa open to 11pm. My son (17) went down at 10:45 and went to outside spa. Apparently collage age kids in spa were making noise earlier and manager had everyone arrested for trespassing. Manager did not come to see what was going one just called police and instructed them to arrest everyone for tresspassing, even though were were guests on our property which we spent several hundreds of dollars to stay there! Spent a sleepless night and all day the next day straightening it out with management and the police dept. The Breck police were very nice and helpful. If I had not had their help I would have had a court date and lawyer fees not to mention a permanant police arrest record for my son. Great Western should manage their own properties. The management company who apparently managed this property did not handle this well. Will never stay here again! Due to lack of sleep and taking the time to get this worked out cost me an entire day of vacation.
Dear Not happy from Satellite Beach FL –
Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and am very sorry to hear about the occurrences during your stay and the issues with the Property Management Company that runs Trails End Condominiums.
Thank you again for the information and I am very happy to hear that the Breckenridge Police Department was nice and helpful, they definitely do a fantastic job. Please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge!

Picked this place as it was close to the ski school. It was very close. I initally was apprehensive as the toilet didnt work, but within 20 minutes they had someone at the door who fixed the toilet. The room was not luxurious, the furniture was a little run down. The decor was lacking. The sheets were not 400 count. But everything was adequate. The location was so excellent that it made up for the room.

Very pleased with the accomodation. Everything was as it was described. Easy access to the slopes with a very short walk. Very convenient to town.

Needs maintenance in the kitchen. A couple of the drawers had issues, like they would fall out since the tracks were broken. The unit was very clean. Great for ski-in and ski-out. Hot tub and sauna was well kept and clean.

My husband and I had a great stay at Trails End. It was the perfect location to the slopes and town. #308 was well equipped with everything we needed. The sofas and bed were very comfortable. We would like to recommend a ceiling fan in the bed room to help circulate the air since it is so dry. Otherwise it was great and we hope to come back next year.

Great location for skiing. Just walk out the door and you're at the lifts. Short walk to town. Hot tubs are great. 1 bedroom was a little small for 2 adults and 2 kids, but fine for the price and location.

This is all about the location. The room itself was nice and well furnished. It was small - especially since we had 4 people - but it did the trick and it was literally ski-in / ski-out. We had the opportunity to stay in this condo for 4 days, and paid for only 3 days. When you divide that up by 4 people, it doesn't cost too much. Who knew that skiing in Breckenridge could be done on such a small budget? I would definitely stay here again. Next time, though, we'll get a 2 BR / BA if 4 of us go.

WHEN EVER WE VISIT BRECK IN THE WINTER, 99.9% OF THE TIME WE STAY AT TRAILS END. THE ROOMS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN WELL KEPT. SKI IN AND SKI OUT PROVIDES EASY ACCESS TO THE SLOPES AND TO SKI SCHOOL FOR THE KIDS. A SHORT WALK AND YOU ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF TOWN FOR SHOPPING OR DINING. THE BUS TERMINAL IS ALSO A SHORT WALK FOR THOSE WHO NEED A RIDE. WE NEVER RENT A CAR, SO THE FREE COMMUNITY BUS SERVICE IS A MUST FOR OUR TRIP TO THE FOOD MARKET OR COMMUNITY CENTER. AS LONG AS THERE IS AVAILABILITY, WE WILL CONTINUE TO STAY AT TRAIL END.
