Description

This Cedars two bedroom plus den townhome is in the coveted "front row" location at the base of Peak 9 just steps above the Quicksilver chairlift. This property has been recently refurbished with beautiful hardwood flooring in the living and dining levels. Additionally, each bedroom features its own gas fireplace and flatscreen TVs. There is also a small deck accessible from the primary bedroom. There is an additional sleeping area on the lowest level, furnished with a bunk bed and TV. This property also features a gas-burning fireplace in the living room, washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, a sunny deck, and beautiful mountain furnishings. Guests will also have use of the Upper Village outdoor heated pool and hot tubs approximately 150 yards off-site.

The townhome features a small one-car garage, approx 19' deep by 7' wide. An Explorer or similar vehicle can be carefully parked in this garage, but a Suburban, Yukon, Expedition or other large SUV or full-sized truck will not fit. Overflow parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, but parking outside of the small garage spot is not guaranteed.

Cedars 5 cannot be beat for its' location directly next to the Quicksilver lift. Stopping in for a warm drink, or letting the kids rest from skiing is a breeze in this location (although be prepared to pole a long way on the flat section of the run that leads to the condos). The decor is fine and the kitchen was well-stocked (we cook a lot, and found most everything we needed). The heating is very unique in this unit - all the heat comes from the 3 fireplaces, so it seems to either be really hot or pretty cold - we had a hard time finding a happy medium. Also, the basement bunkroom was just too cold for our kids, so know going into it that it may be a better 3rd bedroom in warmer temps/Summertime.

This was a last minute trip to the mountains to get some mid-week skiing. The property was ready when we arrived and we greatly appreciated the early check in. I was located right at the base of Peak 9, only a few steps from the lift. The location could not have been better. The unit itself was clean, cozy and the beds were remarkably comfortable. Adjusting the heat with the fireplaces took a little tweaking but we figured the right setting quickly enough. Overall, it's an excellent property in a perfect location. Thank you.

Really enjoyed this place! Location was wonderful- truly ski in ski out. Right next to the run that leads down to the big lift.(Quicksilver of Peak 9). Just walk out you door, across a little bridge and start skiing! Fireplaces in living room and both bedrooms controlled by a thermostat. And if we wanted a little cooler, we just opened a window or 2. Bedrooms were spacious and had nice en suite bathrooms. Kitchen was stocked with all the necessities. Had a garage but it was very small and our SUV would not fit. The only problem we had was we parked in a parking space right across from our garage and we got parking tickets 2 night of our stay. We had the parking permit displayed on our dash and we had to make alot of phone calls to get them cancelled. Otherwise though-we loved Breckenridge and our time there!

Our condo was close to town center with a short walk. Also close to a great hiking trial. Very quiet and nice with the little stream out front. Very relaxing! We drove both days to destination hikes...Breckinridge had a few too many people for our liking. Great stay!

We absolutely loved our stay in this townhouse! It perfectly accommodated our family of 9. The location couldn't be any better with the true ski in/out and a short walk to Main Street for all the restaurants and shops. Everything was clean and the kitchen was nicely equipped. We're hoping to stay in this unit again next year.

Great condo right off the slopes. Ski to lift or walk to town. We loved the bedroom fireplaces -- great for both heating and ambiance. We will stay here again.

A ski lift is just outside the door, and downtown is a short walk away. There is also a shuttle a few steps away for cold nights. The kitchen has everything you'll need for meals, and the hot tub is very close. Would highly recommend!

Overall a pretty good stay, though a few items of concern. Pictures from the website lead one to believe there is a bathroom/shower in the bottom level with bunks which isn't the case. Also the bottom level does not have baseboard heat like the other levels and was extremely cold - had to call for service/space heaters. Only other thing was that the master toilet had an issue and ran constantly. On the bright side the unit is in a great location to the mountain and town.

This property is absolutely in the best location in Breckenridge. The slopes are 30 yards out of the back door. It's classified as a two bedroom but set up as a three bedroom. The only issue we had was the downstairs TV was broken. Perfect for 2 families with kids.

Great summer rental and just a 10 min. walk from downtown--perfect. We like the Cedars condos. 2nd year there. Close a few hiking trails as well. Aside from the inconvenience of having to go to the GW offices to check in and out, we like this property and the customer service. We'd like to go back to this exact unit or similar unit next summer . . . we may have to reserve it now!

Good for a fam of 5. We love the creek running out front of the unit for some minor exploring. You can sit on balcony and hear the water, watch squirrels play! We called GW for some help with the windows and TV tech, and they responded quickly and did the best they could. Communication was great.

Liked that there were ceiling fans in the rooms, since pretty much no AC units anywhere in Breck, and it's becoming more and more of a popular summer destination as well. It was super busy this summer . . .but good for them, I guess!
