Great location to stay for Mountain Bike Races

Overall clean and convenient place to stay during the summer for the many different mountain bike races in Breck. It would be nice if there was access to an outdoor water spigot and hose. We did have a few critters sneak in. A chipmunk which seems to live under the back patio came in a couple times and on the final day we had a mouse that probably came in through an open door. Other than that it was a worth while place to stay in Breck. I wish we could bring our dogs. It seemed like other people had dogs but I would guess they were breaking the rules. The hot tub is a bit close to the bedroom and some kids got in it at 2AM and made a ruckus.
Good for the price

Very clean! Wonderfully priced. Great to have full washer/dryer. Space was a bit cramped but worked well for our needs - 2 adults, 2 kids. We stayed in August and temps were in the 60s during the day, 40s at night. Condo seemed a bit warm and was hard to get a cross breeze because of the sunken location. Used 2 fans provided to circulate the air. Overall our stay was very pleasant.

The apartment was well furnished and clean. Only problem was it was very hot and even after adjusting setting on heater it never cooled down. It was great to have a laundry as we had been travelling over the us for the past week.
The condo was comfortable and conveniently located

My son and I spent 3 nights here. We loved the fact we could walk into town and didn't have to deal with parking issues. It would have been nice to have a private hottub as others in the complex do on their balconies. I used the jacuzzi in the master and it was great, tho the tub is pretty narrow. We took advantage of the homemade chocolate chip cookies at the rec room across the street and that was a nice treat. The service at Great Western was excellent. It was our first visit to Breckenridge and we had a great time!

We had a great stay. We had a few issues and your staff immediately fixed everything. We previously stayed in 106S and next time we will probably stay in that unit opposed to 107S. Just a personal preference.

We booked this particular location because of all the other positive reviews. We had a group of 4 engineers staying here for a week. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised with the overall size. With pictures you can never determine what the size actually is. The size of the kitchen was adequate for us. Overall the utensils for cooking were sub par. With our jobs we needed high speed wifi and this place was booked with the understanding that this would be the case. The wifi in the unit did not work at all and multiple calls were placed to try and correct this. They did give us the password to a nearby unit, but the wifi was not only slow it could not be picked up everywhere within the unit. At one point they dropped off a cable to be connected to the router itself. This was not an acceptable solution as we had 8 different devices needing internet capability. While we booked this unit for the sole purpose of skiing and did not expect modern televisions and other technology within, others might. The TV was maybe a 32 inch traditional not flat screen tv. There was a vcr, and a dvd player. The heating in this unit is also not working correctly. We had all of the units turned off and the heating from the floor would not ever turn off. For the entire week, the units were turned to off and it never got below 75 degrees. We called and were told to open some windows. The hot tub on site is a decent size and looks like a small pool. We only had the chance to use it once as one of the nights we tried to use it, it was locked with no sign as to why. The log entry in the guest book indicated this was not just a one time thing. We have used "Great Western Lodging" a lot over the years and we will continue moving forward. With all of the options in Breckenridge we would not stay at this particular unit again. If you are there and do not want any bells or whistles within the unit than this unit will work.

Dear SkiBum:

Thank you for your review of the Corral #107S! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.

I have shared your review with the owner about wireless internet and the need to update all their televisions to flat screen. Good news – the wireless internet is all set and working now! I have also informed the company who is responsible for the hot tubs there about them being locked with no reason, as that should not be the case. Maintenance is going to check out the heat in the unit as well to ensure all is working correctly - thank you for noting!

Please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge!

This 2-bedroom condo is comfortably furnished, including being well-stocked in the kitchen. There is a hot tub steps away from your door, and the unit conveniently offers a washer and dryer. The location can't be beat, as you can easily walk 5-10 minutes into Breck. We had 2 couples in our group, and we thoroughly enjoyed the space of the condo. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Neighbors were quiet; quiet neighborhood location. Minor suggestions for improvement: put some deck chairs on the porch so guests could enjoy being outside (although it was a great place to lock up and store our bikes, too). It would be handy to make sure the kitchen is stocked with salt, pepper, sugar, aluminum foil, plastic wrap; these are not things you think of packing when you're going on vacation, but you definitely need them if you plan on cooking in the kitchen. Overall, enjoyed our stay here very much and would not hesitate to book this unit again.

I will share this with the owner to see about putting some deck chairs out on the patio, as well as with housekeeping about the need for salt, pepper, etc. in the kitchens. Thank you for noting!
