Fantastic location to get on the lift. There was access to a convenient ski/snowboard locker and heated garage! Condo did get hot at night, and there is not a stove.

Overall the place is really nice. I would recommend it for 2-3 people, not 4 people. Main bed is comfy--the hydabed is not something I would want to sleep on as the mattress is paper thin. Old tube TV; has DVD/VCR. **There is no oven** I thought I read something stating there was an oven, but there isn't. The pans for cooking are also very old and cheap; so if you don't want to feel like you'll burn the place down, take a couple of your own. The tub has a jacuzzi built in, and that is wonderful.

Dear Tiffany -

Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.

I have shared your review with the homeowner to note the thin mattress on the sleeper sofa in the living room, as well the television needing an upgrade.

Housekeeping has also been alerted about the pans and they will be checking those out for replacement – thank you for noting!

I will also follow up with Expedia to make sure they have the property description correct, as these Studios only have kitchenettes, so I will double check that the information listed is right.

Your review of your stay in Riverbend Lodge #210 is greatly appreciated and please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge!

210 Riverbend is perfect for any couple's getaway. The location is ideal for winter or summer. Just remember this is a studio and the kitchen is basic- two bunner stove, small frig and a micowave. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning.

checking in process was not that easy to figure out from materials sent. We came in after hours. The apartment was very, very hot, with only a small window that did not let in much air. need more than one fan. Liked the underground parking. Did not like it that there was no internet connection. Did not like that starting 3 days out we received numerous calls reminding us about check out time. We were perfectly aware...one call was plenty. The apartment was clean, but no extra kleenex or toilet paper. No shampoo or other amenities as expected...only a tiny bar of soap that ran out in a day.

Dear Mark -

Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.

I will be following up with Orbitz to ensure that they are providing all the correct arrival information, especially for late arrivals.

Maintenance will be checking out the unit to make sure the heat is not stuck on or anything like that, sometimes the zone valves stick, so we will be double checking that.

There is free wireless internet in all of Riverbend Lodge, very strange that you were unable to access it. I will check with the on-site manager at Riverbend to make sure the free wireless internet is in full working order.

I have spoken with the front desk staff, as you are correct, one phone call is good, there is no need for any more than that. I apologize, as it definitely should not have happened during your stay.

The Operations Department has been notified about the need for additional amenities in the units. This is great feedback – thank you!

Great staff service, very informed, personable and responsive to needs. This particular studio unit at Riverbend (#212) is well furnished and very comfortable. Spent one extra night in the studio unit next door (#210) which was not as well furnished.

A Fantastic Ski Holiday

A fantastic apartment close to the Snowflake lift and a short walk from 4 o'Clock run. Room was clean and warm with all the amenities we expected. A 10 minute walk to Main Street. (You can use the free shuttle bus until you get used to the thin air at altitude, it stops 50 yards from the front door) Our only critisism of the apartment was that the waste in the bath backed up and although we complained about it early in the holiday nothing appeared to be done to overcome the problem.

Dear David -

Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.

I have shared this with the maintenance department to find out what happened with the drain backing up and it looks like even though they came by with Drano a couple of times, the drain continued to get blocked up. They should have left a note each time they came by, so I will follow up and make sure they are leaving notes about the status of issues like this one for guests to see.

It was very warm in the unit when we stayed in august. It was nice overall, but was very small cook area. Also, the jets in the tub had yucky stuff some out of them when I ran them. Jumped out of tub immediately!! Lesson learned...never use jets if not in your own home. The location was great.

Dear Summer Guests -

Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.

I have forwarded this on to our Maintenance and Housekeeping Departments to check out the jets, as there should definitely not be anything but water coming out of them. We will also look into the warmth of the unit and make sure there are fans available for air circulation.

Great ski in-ski out rental; comfortable and convenient

The unit is small but comfortable and convenient. It is located next to the Snowflake lift and next door to a ski shop that can rent you skis or service the ones you bring. Riverbend Lodge also is an easy walk to downtown Breckenridge and is located next to a bus stop so it is easy to get around. The unit also is well stocked with kitchen items so it's easy to buy groceries and prepare some of your meals in the unit. The only downside is that the unit is small and has little storage space for your clothes and ski gear (a small secure storage closet is provided in the garage area for your skis, poles, etc., and that helps). There was just enough room for my wife and me. It may be possible to squeeze four people into the unit with the fold-out couch, but it would be very tight. My overall impression is that this is a very good place to stay for a couple that wants easy and convenient access to the slopes.
