We like Great Western - they have a good process, protocol, and attention to detail. This particular rental was apparently cleaned in haste, and while it was comfortable and provided what we needed, the housekeeping was not exemplary, and the unit did need a bit of work (nothing that provided discomfort, but simply obviously in need of attention). We did call this to Gw's attention, and am mildly surprised that we have not heard from them. Regardless, we shall use GW again when next planning a trip to Brek, and we do like their attentiveness and their overall service.

The location was wonderful. Just off the main street downtown Breck. Ski back and catch the bus just in front of the condo up the mountain. Nice space. The bathrooms were a little small. We ran out of hot water so space out showers. Affordable and clean. Elevator. Outdoor ski closet convenient. Covered parking. Had four college kids with us and we would all stay here again. Thank you!

we were 4 adults looking for a 2 br place where nobody had to sleep on a pull out couch or on bunk beds. this fit the bill perfectly with the 2 double beds in the second bedroom. location was great. walk to main, ski to front door at the end of the day on 4 o'clock. bus or gondola up. some of the quality of construction was a little lacking but everyone at GW Lodging was great about it and took care of our issues promptly. we will certainly keep this on the list for next years trip!

Despite the picture, this condo didn't get much ambient light and was very dark inside. There was no light inside the master shower, and the bathrooms are very dated. The master bed was not comfortable (a little too soft), and my pillow was so flat, I had to borrow one from the other bedroom. Surprisingly, with windows closed, there was very little road noise - though the condo is right next to Hwy 9. (Thankfully, it was not a hot weekend.) The large hot tub on the property needed cleaning, as the water had some scum on it. We did like the covered parking and the convenience to downtown. I doubt that we would stay at this property again, as Great Western has a lot to choose from.

I have shared this information with the owner to let them know that additional lighting is needed in the unit, especially the master bathroom shower, as well as that the bathrooms need to be updated. The master bedroom mattress and pillows have been forwarded too to the owner for possible replacements. This is great feedback to share with the homeowner!

This was just a ski in and you had to ride the bus to get on the lift. The condo was in a great location and was walking distance to everything in town. Inside the condo it was a little dated and little things were wrong with it that started to add up. The door handles to the rooms and bathroom were broken and would not lock, the light bulbs to the living room and bedroom were burnt out, no batteries in the remotes for the tvs, and the hot water would be gone after one shower.

We were late arrivals to our Breckenridge destination. Once we figured out the directions for picking up the key, all the rest was great. There were six of us and we were all comfortable with the sleeping arrangements and very pleased to have such a well-equipped kitchen. We ate most of our meals in and had everything we needed. Because it was July the bedrooms were a bit warm -- but our request for fans was quickly honored. So...all was good and we plan on doing it again.

We highly recommend Sawmill Creek Condos! Our unit was super clean, incredibly spacious, cosy, & had all the amennities of home!!! :-) It was in walking distance of countless restaurants & shops...& Great Western Lodging provided an awesome welcome pack, with lots of ideas & info! :-) Would definitely stay there again...
Ski in, Shuttle out

Compared to other rentals, for a few hundred more this offered the ski-in feature and internet. It was nice to come in for lunch and avoid the crowds and expensive food for lunch. The gas fireplace did keep us warm when an unexpected high wind/snow (125mph)storm blew in & the electricity was out. Our day 3 of skiing was cancelled since only 3 lifts were open with the 50mph winds, but Breck did refund us the 3rd day of 5 (less $19 commission per tkt). Being able to walk to Main St and even to the City Market grocery store was great. The bathrooms were tiny & husband thought the place was ready for updates even though the kitchen was updated a few years back and so was the furniture. The people in the unit upstairs sounded like they were walking around in their ski boots all the time and didn't respond quickly at 3am to a family member knocking on their door and window to be let in. Otherwise it was a comfortable stay.
