The location, the views, attached parking garage, comfortable beds (and bedding), a well-stocked updated kitchen, and the pleasing decor of this mountain home created the perfect retreat for us. We would definitely request this unit again.

Leisure traveler
Overall, we had a comfortable stay over Memorial Day weekend. Booking and checking in was easy. The staff was friendly. The office is off site. We are a family of four with two adult children, so the bed situation worked perfectly for us. Next time I will bring my own pillow. The ones provided are a bit on the firm side. And the coffee maker was very slow. For us everything else was good. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is a washer and dryer if you need one. Being an end unit helps, as well. The balcony overlooks the town and a bit of the ski area with some mountain view. The building is in downtown Breckenridge just a block off the main street. Restaurants, shops, a play area for children, and two creeks are close by. A City Market and liquor store are not too far away and within a good walking distance, although we did drive there. A coffee shop is across the street. Remember to bring a hair dryer.

We all loved the condo and its set up. Couldn't ask for a better location, close to everything. We enjoyed the walk to shop and eat. The draw back was the condo was exceptionaly noisy, you could not sleep, or enjoy hanging out and talking for the noise from above. You would be wake up at night and in the morning to foot steps and other noise from above. We also talked to another person a couple of condos down and were informed of there loud stay. I don't know what can be done to sound proof the units but its very disturbing. I will go back and stay at Saw Mill Creek again but assure you I will stay on the fourth floor.

The condo we rented layout was OK, except the master bath is located outside of the master bedroom which is kinda akward. The worst thing that we were on the third floor and on this side of the condos there is a 4th floor! Every morning & night we were awaken by the people staying above us-it was horrible! We heard every move they made. We had stayed in Sawmill before and loved it, but we were on the 3rd floor on the other side of the units so it was the top floor. We will not stay again unless we are on the top floor. This is unfortunate because this is a nice unit! Also, no coffe filters provided & the heating system was terrible. We got so hot we had to turn the system off completely!

The management was not attentive to the noise and discourteous conduct of the renters in 401. We could not sleep, carry on conversation or watch a movie because of the noise level. The night before we departed the management finally came by to see what could be done. No one offered to move us or make things better. For the money spent, one would expect better service. The condo was nice but be careful about the renters above – not worth the risk. Great Western’s advice was to call the cops.

Fantastic unit within Sawmill Creek. Loved the end unit location. It was quiet and very nicely renovated. The only comment would be that the beds were a little too firm for our liking. Great unit and we will stay here again.

Great Condo!!!!
We have been staying in condos in the Breckenridge/Keystone area for over 12 years. We like to book different condos to try something new. However, in the future we will try to get Room 301 in Sawmill Creek anytime we can. It is very comfortable, tastefully decorated with quality furniture. Family pictures of the owners help you realize this belongs to someone. It was a place you wanted to take care of because it was so nice. I forgot to mention the great location. We wanted to try the hot tub but we got too busy watching the hummingbirds! Thanks for sharing.
Our stay was relaxing and so convenient to everything!!

This is our second time staying at the Sawmill Creek Condo. We love the homey feel and the convenience to getting on the mountain and getting into town without ever having to get in the car. We will definitely be booking future stays in this very same condo.

The Texans who love Breckenridge
Really loved our time in the condo. Just a couple of suggestions to make it easier: We were there for a week, had to go out and buy coffee filters since only two were provided. Since they specifically want you to use a liquid he laundry detergent, they should provide enough for a couple of loads. From there we went to a condo in Estes Park, where both of these things were provided.
