Recently remodeled, this two bedroom Breckenridge condo has a great layout where you and your family can sit back, relax and enjoy your time. In the living area, there is a brand new large flat screen TV as well as a gas fireplace. Through the windows you will see great views of town and the mountains. This is always a nice view, especially when you are getting ready for your morning runs. Other amenities this unit provides is a washer and dryer, free Wi-Fi, ski storage, access to the common area indoor hot tubs, shared grill and a covered parking space. The Sawmill Creek complex is just 20 yards away from the Four O'clock ski run, and just a block into historic Main Street.

Spacious and warm. Apartment was fine in all aspects BUT when we tried to arrange a later check-out at 1145 instead of the 1000 as published, Great Western Lodging just gave me a resounding no without even trying to get housekeeping to do it. Next guests only arrived at 1600. This caused unnecessary time and effort to get around. Disappointed.

We definitely try to accommodate late check-outs when business levels allow, unfortunately with guests coming in to the unit later that same day housekeeping prefers to start cleaning these back to back units first thing. We can always store any luggage or assist in any way possible so guests can enjoy their last day here in Breckenridge. Family ski trip

This is our second family ski trip. Both so far have been in Breckenridge as we all love this town and ski resort. We rented two units 303 & 304 and we're happy with the condition and amenities in both units. It was nice to be so close to town as we rarely drove our rental car. The best thing about the Sawmill property is the proximity to both the shuttle and the ability to ski in on the four o'clock run right to the parking lot of the unit. We will definitely look at units in this complex for future trips. The accommodations were clean and we had all the kitchen utensils needed for meals. All in all we were happy with the unit it wasn't luxurious but it definitely met our needs.
A great location, great place for a family with older children who like their own beds!

Great location. Easy to hike up the ski hill, and to walk downtown, and along the river walk! The place was very homey, comfortable and clean. We picked the place for the beds, and this did not disappoint. Two full sized beds in the guest bedroom and a king in the master, all with qualify bedding. I have two older sons who are tall and the beds in the second bedroom were great for them! We loved sitting on the balcony! I do have a couple of nit-picky comments. The furniture arrangement around the tv is awkward. Maybe the larger couch could be on the back wall, or the large couch could be angled out from the wall to see the TV better. (we are tv people) Also, there wasn't shampoo. Bar soap was provided. The other thing was that housekeeping arrived to clean the place at 9:30, and our checkout time was 10am. But overall the place was great. I would recommend this place to friends and I would definitely stay there again! It was great for our family.

I stayed with two friends for a week of skiing. It was perfect for us, the 2nd bedroom was very spacious with a large space between beds. The beds were all comfortable and had high quality bedding. The kitchen was large and stocked with everything that was needed to cook and dine. The view from the balcony door is towards town, with the mountains in the distance, very nice. You can watch skiers end their run down the 4 Oclock trail that terminates at the bus stop. This unit was in walking distance to everything in town, including the grocery store. The liquor store is directly across the street. We did not rent a car, and had no problems walking around town. We took the Breck Yellow shuttle every day to the Snow Flake lift to start the day. The shuttle picks up every 20 minutes, and takes 5 minutes to get to the lift. The unit had a locking ski closet just outside of the unit, it was very secure and convenient. The two indoor hot tubs were very well maintained. We especially appreciated the fact that there is an on-site Great Western office with great staff to answer questions and take care of any maintenance. We used the Colorado Mountain Express, and they dropped us off and picked us up at the Condo. We will be back, and highly recommend Great Western.

This was our first ski trip west so we really did not know the ropes about where to stay, but I'm so grateful I connected with Hilary at Great Western Lodging who helped me find this condo. The location was perfect. Loved the option of ski-in and the shuttle across the street was ideal to get to the gondola. The short walk to town meant we didn't have to deal with partking, which was great. The condo itself was clean and very well-appointed. Absolutely no complaints and I'm picky. The only downside was the lighting in the bedrooms. They face the covered walkways, so there was very little natural light and the lamps were dim, so it made it difficult to see while packing, getting ready to head out in the morning, etc. But seriously, a small downside. I'd absolutely stay there again. I gave the condo an average rating on value because I think paying nearly $400/night for lodging anywhere is insane, but also realize that we stayed during the high season.

Our stay in Breckenridge began by contacting Great Western Lodging. This is the 2nd year that we booked through this same company. Both times the experience was excellent. The individual that we dealt with (Lauren) was extremely polite and helpful. We will certainly use them again in the future for our annual trek to this scenic community. We stayed in Sawmill Creek condo 304 for a week in mid-September 2013. The condo was very roomy and the kitchen was well equipped. Can't think of anything that we needed that was missing. The master had a king bed that was very comfortable. The condo was right next to the elevator, and we were initially concerned that this would be noisy with people coming in late at night, but in fact we never heard it at all. The second bedroom has two queen beds and was quite large. I assume with the pullout couch in the living area, it would be possible to sleep up to 8 people. However, the kitchen, dining and living areas would feel cramped with more than 5 or 6 people. The view from the dining area and balcony looks over part of the town and has beautiful vistas of the mountains. We have stayed in other condos at the south end of town, but Sawmill Creek is only about a 5 minute walk to Main St. and very close to the center part of town. Very convenient location. The only negatives are 1) the washer dryer closet is very dark, bring a flashlight to read the dials on the appliances 2) the bathrooms are nice with granite counters, but are small 3) the refrigerator door can't be open at the same time as the dishwasher - crazy set up. The bottom line is always the question "Would you come back?" The answer is definitely yes.
