great place for adult family ski week

Our family of 4 adult couples rented the Pines for a ski week over New Years week. It was a great choice because there were 4 good size bedrooms, 3 full baths and 2 half baths, 3 areas for lounging and a good working kitchen. The best feature was ski in, ski out. Everyone could come and go on their own schedule and no car was needed. We used the free bus shuttle to get in and out of town (10 minute walk to Nordic Centre bus stop and bus runs every 30 min) but cooked most of our meals in the condo.
Perfect!

The Pines 050 is an awesome rental. It is perfect for a family rental, as the bedrooms are split up, so most bedrooms are on their own level - giving everyone their own space. And there are plenty of bathrooms, almost one on every level, which is really great as well. If you don't like climbing stairs, I wouldn't recommend this rental, as there are 6 different levels, which makes for a lot of climbing. The levels/stairs are nice for large groups because it breaks up the space really well, as long as you don't mind stairs. The neighborhood is quiet, it would be a quick jump to get on the slopes, and it's a short drive to town. You're still just up the hill from Main St, but it feels much more secluded. My one and only complaint about this property was the toilets. They don't flush well, it's a little gross. Everything else was great! And as always, Great Western was super to work with. We are definitely becoming loyal Great Western renters!

Great Western has wonderful customer service. The home was beautiful and spacious, hot tub relaxing, and it had all kitchen items that we needed. Location was great; you ski in/ski out and cross the parking lot to get to condo. We had a large group and the kitchen was small for our group. Also could use more lighting in the bedrooms.

We started out our ski trip at 115 Pines. When the sump pump quit working and overflowed into the basement a day after we got there, you moved us to 50 Pines. We appreciate the quick response when the problem developed and your finding us another place to stay while the problem was fixed. We had 6 adults, 4 teens and 1 child for a total of 11 in our party. 50 Pines is a lovely condo and it offered much better sleeping arrangements for us than 115. The family areas were great and the bedrooms comfortable. We enjoyed 50 Pines and the only thing it lacked was that it did not overlook four o'clock run.

Dear Glee –

Thank you for your review!

The maintenance emergency you experienced during your stay was definitely out of the ordinary and we are very excited that the room move to The Pines #50 worked out so well! Thank you to all the guests in your party for the help in getting everyone accommodated at such a late hour due to the emergency situation.

This is a beautiful condo - but not well-maintained. We had to replace several outdoor lights ourselves/LR lamp was broken/toilets are terrible - do not flush on first flush!!i/2nd level bedroom lampshade broken/dryer does not dry unless you use it 2 or 3 times to get 1 load dry/no internet connection/ however, very nice layout for families. With these problems, price should be less. We left a detailed list (with the keys when we checked out) of the things that needed to be fixed.

Dear T. King –

Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and we have forwarded the information on to not only the Owner of The Pines #50, but also the Maintenance and Housekeeping Departments.

This is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention and the upgrades needed, especially the replacement of the lamp shades and need for Internet. Maintenance did receive the detailed list and immediately responded to the items. Thank you for the list!

The Owner also updated their unit with these items kept in mind. We are excited that they took advantage of the slower Fall timeframe and did the work needed on this 4 Bedroom Townhome.

Thank you again for the information on the Pines #50 and please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge!

Our family had a great stay in Breckenridge. Our rental was perfect in every way. We were traveling with 5 teens and they had a blast. Our days were busy and quite tiring. Coming back to the house was a treat. We enjoyed the hot tub immensely. The floor plan was great, the home warm and comfortable. Thank you so much. The Simpson-Moores!
