Great place to stay. Very clean. Very convenient and within walking distance to town! The only thing I think would have made our stay better was knowing where the shortcut to the ski slope was – we walked all the way up the hill when we could have just taken the little path!!!
Great location

We enjoyed our stay in Unit 107 at Trails End. The location is fantastic, as it is very close to the Quicksilver lift and to town. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable, but the pillows are in need of an upgrade. And as others have mentioned, the baseboard heater does make some noise when it turns on. Also, since the humidifier made a loud clicking sound when turned on, we had to discontinue using it. One member of our party slept on the pull-out sofa bed and noted that the mattress needed to be replaced as he could feel a bar underneath him. All that being said, we still enjoyed the unit and feel that with some small changes it could be even better.

Dear Barry:

Thank you for your review of Trails End #107! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.

I have shared your review with the owner concerning the need for new pillows and mattress for the sleeper sofa – thank you for noting! Operations will also check out the baseboard heater and the humidifier, as they may just need to replace it.

Please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge!

I would have given this place a 5 star if it wasn't for the very loud base board heater kicking in every 45 minutes at night and making a pinging noise. It was loud enough to wake myself up and my 2 year old every couple of hours so we were very tired by the end of the 3 days. The shower was also backed up but they came and fixed that right after I told the front desk. Besides that, it was a really nice condo as long as you don't need to turn the heat on :)

I have booked thru GWL on my last 5 visits to Breckenridge over the past 2 years. The only thing that tops the superior quality of their accommodations is their level of customer service. Trails End - 107 was quite lovely with a great location.

My 2 grown sons and I stayed here and really enjoyed the close proximity to the slopes, brewery and restaurants. We like the first floor so as not to worry about elevator which from past experience we found small and slow especially when everyone on way out to the slopes. The first night we found the humidifier not working and being from Kansas we nee the humidity. I called GW and they replaced it the next day with a brand new humidifier. We hit the outdoor hot tub every night after a day of skiing. Only thing we thought needing attention was how slow the tub drained. Minor problem and would be minor fix.

Trails End provided the ideal accommodations for us while visiting Breckenridge to participate in the Firecracker 50 Mountain Bike Endurance event. The close proximity (within walking distance) of the condo to the race events, parade festivities, main street shopping and restaurants was perfect for us. The only suggestion we have is to change out the shower head to one that allows more water flow. Thank you, we had a wonderful time in Breckenridge!
Great location on mountain, but this is a noisy unit on 1st floo

Unit was clear and well equipped. The elevators and lobby are showing their age and wear; lobby/elevator at my son's college dormitory are much nicer. Also, the baseboard heater in bedroom bangs for 5 minutes every time it kicks in at night. The thing that will keep you coming back is location. You can ski in/out, and it is only 3 (walking distance) blocks to downtown Breck. You really do not need to rent/bring/use your vehicle after you arrive.

I have shared your review with the homeowner association to note the wear and tear starting to show in the common areas of the building, as well as with maintenance to check out the baseboard heater, as it should not be making so much noise – thank you for noting!

This will be my 40th season skiing ( i am 43 yrs. old) I have been everywhere !! Breck is the best, the friendliest town ever !!! Trails End (for the $$ is wonderful) steps to lift, steps to town, indoor hot tub, well stocked kitchen, the list goes on... Great Western Lodging is also especially helpful.. The after hours key pick-up is very nice,, never has there been an issue.. I have stayed in this unit 2 years in a row, got back last week, immediately booked for the same week next year.. Gwl is a wonderful Leasing Company,,, ask for Robin she is wonderful, took care of my "numerous" requests with nothing but grace (and I can be difficult) Do not hesitate to book with GWL, and the Trails End (for the $$) is the best.. Close the skiing. Just a 2 minute walk to the lift.

Hello
We enjoyed the condo. However I felt the door did not lock very good. This is a concern. Don't get me wrong it locked just didn't seem secure.

Trails End location to town and the ski lifts were so close that I did not use my car till I got ready to leave. My condo had every thing you needed to cook a meal and plenty of dishes for my stay. The staff at Great Western were very helpful and got me a great deal on my skis and lift ticket!
convenient and good value for slope side

slope side accommodation-comfortable and convenient for ski-in ski out vacations. Kitchen well stocked, gas fireplace a nice feature, furnishings in good shape. Sleeping pillows could be improved
