Super convenient to Main Street. This was a clean and comfortable unit, perfect for just the two of us in town for 4th of July. The unit is a tiny bit dated in the kitchen and bath, but everything was functional and in good condition. The Kitchen was well stocked with cooking and eating utensils, plenty of linens. Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed at this particular unit for the past several years. Our main complaint had been the saggy bed in the master bedroom. We mentioned it to management last year and were happy to find a brand new bed with great support this year. There is lots of underbed storage in the bedroom as well. This unit also has digital cable in the family room and cable in the bedroom, also an upgrade. The bathroom has been upgraded as well. We love the gas fireplace, flat screen TV, and couch that folds out into a comfortable bed. The glove and boot dryer is also a great selling point. It has a great location, about a 100 yards or so from the Quicksilver lift. we always enjoy the indoor and outdoor hot tubs. Our kids call it "their condo" and we always request this unit. Overall a great value!

I was in Breck for fly fishing. The full kitchen was very nice and was well supplied.The bedding comfortable and clean. Nice TV. The boot ski drier was handy for my fishing boots. I would recomment this unit. In fact I am rebooking another trip at this time. I come from Indiana no rainbow trout here.

Rented the condo for three days to use as a base for Summit county activities. Check-in and Check-out went smoothly. Condo was in a great location that allowed us to walk Breck for food and fun. Speaking of walking-the elevator was past being fixed. It stalled and rattled and finally refused to move between floors. Good thing it was not in use a lot and no one was stuck for long. The condo itself was showing some signs of age and a little neglect. It was obvious that there had been water intrusion at both of the sliders. For some people it might be okay but for both of us the mold spores (unseen but in the walls) made breathing difficult, especially in the bedroom, at night. Opening the doors helped some. The kitchen, though not used much, was outfitted well for cooking to larger groups. The closet rod was broken-it could not be used for hanging but was in place-which was not a big deal as we didn't have to hang anything. Couch needed a good steam clean and the counters were dirty upon arrival. Bed was great for people liking a firm mattress-loved it. Most of the bed linens could have been updated-but were satisfactory and warm. The bed bedspread set showed some signs of prior use or stains on the underside...ugh!!! All in all the condo was visually nice and homey comfortable. With a little sprucing up and mold abatement it would be perfect.

I have shared this information with the owner to look into the water damage, as well as to see about new bedding for the bedroom. The management company of Trails End has been alerted to the elevator concerns, as that could be a big issue in the winter season.

The operations department is going to check out the rod in the closet and will schedule the unit for a deep clean this fall, which includes steam cleaning not only the floor, but also the furniture, plus a good scrub down of the entire unit. Thank you for noting!

We first checked into a room that they were do a fireplace renovation on below th eunit. We were moved to this room. It was wonderful! Everything was clean. We had our two sons 4 months old and 12 years old. Plenty of space for all of us. Quiet location easy access to main street.

This condo is a bit smaller and more cramped than the pictures suggest but very nice. Both the bed and sofabed were comfortable. The location of these units is excellent, a short walk to the Quick Silver lift as well as Main Street. We had stayed in a Trails End unit a few months earlier that was "nicer" - furnishing and kitchen articles were newer and a little nicer. Bottom line is that I would ask for the first unit on my next stay but would not hesitate to rent this one.

The issues started at check-in. I was asked for my credit card at check-in for "security purposes" the card was scanned then I was asked to sign for a $100 hold. I wish this hold amount had been told to me before she scanned it. Other condos and hotels we have stayed at had a $10 hold. Not a huge deal but that would have been nice to know before it was scanned. The room was very dated. Old decor, extremely loud dishwasher, baseboard heaters that got scorching hot (not child friendly), the heat in the room smelled like something was burning, and the bathroom ceiling heater did not stay on longer than a few minutes which was not adequate enough to warm up the freezing cold toilet seat! The placement of the furniture was a bit weird, the side table was in front of the sliding glass door making it difficult to use the door. We had to rearrange the bedroom furniture to fit a pack-n-play in there. Too much furniture for the room size I suppose?! The first night we tried to use the shower the water was completely ice cold. We called the front desk and I was told "Generally, that means the hot water heater has run out". We had just checked in a few hours prior, I wasn't sure how we could have run out of hot water already! Maintenance was paged and he showed up within the hour but could not fix the problem. A plumber was called the next morning, he was not sure what had happened but the hot water was working again that morning. For the remainder of our stay we realized we had to take super quick showers and not more than one shower back to back or the second person would not have any hot water. Sleeping was horrible. The baseboard heater in the bedroom made this loud clicking noise all night long. On our second day the water pressure in the shower had gone from decent to hardly dripping. We waited an hour or so to try the shower again and still hardly any water pressure. No "extras" like coffee or tea or extra toilet paper for that matter. We checked out a full day early. It was worth the wasted money to drive home and actually get some decent sleep. When I checked out I told the front desk about the heater clicking all night long. She then asks "Well...did you call for maintenance"? I told her our issues had started from the moment we checked in and it was better for us just to check out and go home early. She then said "Oh, well I'm sorry about all of that". I wasn't given any paperwork at check out and had to explain myself over and over asking for documentation that I checked out and returned all of the keys and pool passes so I would not be charged. I finally just asked her to just hand write something for me. Overall, you are paying for location, that's it. The location is great, right next to the Quicksilver chair on Peak 9. Our family will never again try and save a few $$ and stay here. We've been to Breck four times at four different locations and this was by far the worst room and worst experience.

I was very surprised by your review as I had been keeping in touch with your travel agent, as well as our maintenance department to make sure the heat was fixed and all was good for your stay. I worked with the travel agent to get the garage parking spot for your stay, as the garage spots are unit specific and #306 does not own a spot. Luckily, we had some guests in another unit that owns a spot who arrived on a shuttle, so that worked out perfectly to get you a garage parking spot.

In following up with the travel agent, it was reported back to me that you were all set and had e-mailed that everything looked good and was working -

“Thank you again for the garage parking spot. The plumber said everything looked good with the heater. It has been working fine all day including for my son's bath tonight…”

I will follow up with maintenance and have them check out the baseboard heaters, as they should not be making noise, as well as the dishwasher and bathroom ceiling heater to ensure all is working properly. I will also let the owner know about the dated décor and the odd furniture placement.

The check-in information has been noted with the travel agent and that is completely cleared up. The previous information that was provided of a credit card imprint is required at check-in, has been updated to note the $100 authorization to be taken. All set there for all future guests!
