The Historic District is adjacent to and east of Main Street. This area represents numerous private homes in Breckenridge. Many of Breckenridge's bed & breakfasts are also located here. Guests in this area enjoy easy walking distance to Main Street, and ski area access via a short walk or shuttle to Peak 9, or a ride on the BreckConnect Gondola to Peak 7 or 8.
The Four O'clock/Snowflake area properties represent a variety of accommodations options lining Four O'Clock Rd, adjacent to the Four O'Clock ski run and the Snowflake Lift. This neighborhood was developed to offer a wide variety of ski in/ski out and ski in/walk out properties. The free town and ski area shuttles service this area, including stops along Four O'Clock Rd & Kings Crown Rd. The Four O'Clock/Snowflake area represents one of the best values in slopeside accommodations, especially compared to the Peak 9 slopeside properties. The free shuttles available in this area provide access to the rest of town, but many of these properties do not provide for an easy walk down to Main Street.
The Peak 9 neighborhood in Breckenridge offers what many think to be the best of both worlds, slopeside or walk-to-lift properties that are also right near Main Street. Many of the town's ski in/ski out properties are located at the base of Peak 9, either near the Quicksilver Lift or the Beaver Run Lift. Some of our most popular Peak 9 ski in/ski out condos offer shuttle access, pool & hot tub access, free WiFi, and of course some excellent skiing & riding right out your door!
The Peaks 7 & 8 neighborhoods represent both the newly developed Peak 8 base area, along with the base at Peak 7. These are both connected to town via the BreckConnect gondola, and provide a wide variety of high-end lodging options. Also near the base of Peak 8 are several private homes, condos and townhomes. Within a couple miles of the Peak 7 base area are several private homes in a more remote setting. The downside to the bases of Peaks 7 & 8 is that one cannot walk to Main Street, which is about 2 miles away.
The Warrior's Mark neighborhood near the base of Peak 9 offer a great selection of lodging accommodations including townhomes and condominiums. While these properties are not within walking distance of either the ski area or Main Street, they are accessible via free town shuttle service. They offer some of the best values in condominium rentals, but there are no newer properties in this area.
