The WOW factors of this condo are 15 ft ceilings (some rooms), 3 balconies, penthouse views on all sides, one block to restaurants/shops and great privacy. When we had a problem with our barbecue grill, it was fixed quickly. Highly recommend this unit.

An absolutely wonderful place to stay. Much room. Great facilities. Awesome views. One window could have used a window screen in dining room. We were concerned for our small grandchildren as we were on the fourth floor. I would recommend Great West Lodging for sure. Very organized and detailed planning.

The condo was great for the price. Beautiful views and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and more. The main reason I chose to only give a 3 rather than a 5 is due to the condition of the mattresses. Every mattress, other than the bunk beds is in desperate need of replacement. I had to sleep on the couch every night because my husband and I both fell to the middle of the bed in the double bedroom. I believe the description also said that there would be TV's in each bedroom and the double bedroom didn't have a TV at all and the upstairs TV didn't work. Had the sleeping quarters been better I'm certain I would have given a 5 for my review, but having not slept well the entire trip I feel that a 3 is the best I can do. I would definitely stay there again, under the conditions that all mattresses had been replaced.

This was my first time in Breckenridge and first time staying at Great Western Lodging.. We were a group of 10 people/friends and I organized the trip. I didn't now what to expect by the pictures... I highly recommend this unit, is spacious for 10 people., you don't feel clutter. It is clean and it has the necessary kitchen aids to cook. The location is great. we where just 5 minutes walking from Peak 9, Village. I am glad that we didn't rent car. The view in the morning is great.. You will wake up looking at the mountains. Main st is 10 min walking.. The town is so cute to walk that really you don't need a car.. Oh the toaster work so well that is better if you set it up on 3 hehe or the alarm will go off as happened to us... I can't wait to go back next year.
We'll be back!

The location is fabulous - quick walk to Quicksilver Lift and to town. The sleeping arrangement worked well for our family of 10. The kitchen was well-equipped and the unit was very clean. Views from Powderhorne A405 condo are terrific from all windows. Other than the toaster, which does not work, all the appliances were great. The double bed room could use a light in the closet. Those are minor items, though. With 10 people, there were plenty of places for everyone to relax and enjoy the stay. We'll be back!

Everyone in our family was so jealous of our beautifully decorated, quiet, spacious condo during our Brennan Family Reunion the first week of August! This condo is absolutely gorgeous and comfortable and extremely QUIET!!! Many of my siblings lost sleep in their condos due to outside noise, construction, loud partying from the Pub across the street from their condo. But, we didn't hear a peep in our condo and all slept very well! We can't wait to come back and we will definitely request Powderhorn A405 again! Our new home away from home!

We have been vacationing in Breck for fifteen (15) years, have stayed at eleven (11) different condos or town homes, but now we have finally found our home away from home in Breck! Powderhorn A405 is a great condo, close to town, nice size, and very quiet. We love the layout, with the third (3rd) bedroom, bunkroom, on the upper level, and the master and second (2nd) bedrooms on the main floor. This is the best equipped condo that we've stayed in anywhere that I can recall. This unit is clean, bright, has lots of windows, great views of both sides of the valley. You can watch the sun rise on the peaks of the Ten Mile Range in the morning and watch the last sun light on Baldy in the evening. We parked on the deck, rather than in the garage, because we had a Thule ski box on the Mountaineer and didn't want to have any overhead scrapes. That said, the garage ceiling is higher than some of the other underground garages in Breck that I've parked in. I don't know if it would be easy to maneuver a Suburban/Expendition/Excusion size vehicle in the garage, but how many garages are easy to get around in with vehicles of that size. Another plus for this unit is that it is managed by Great Western Lodging. Unlike many rental companies in Breck, GWL doesn't have a "nearly hidden" cleaning fee that only shows up when you're committing to the rental. I just won't rent from any company that has a "got ya!" cleaning fee that makes many great looking deals not so great when you add in another $150 to $200 onto the rental fees and taxes. We will definitely rent this unit again and would recommend it without any reservations to anyone looking for this size unit. I would say that it would be more comfortable with a maximum of nine (9) people; 2 in the master BR, 2 in the second BR, and 5 in the third BR/Bunk Room.

Easy check in and out. My group (Myself and wife, Mother and Father-in-law, and my 4 daughters) stayed and had plenty of extra room. Very convenient to the slopes and ski school. Kitchen had all the amenities we needed. Only two possible concerns: In-laws said the 2nd bedroom didn't have a great mattress and there are some low hanging pipes in the reserved parking spot that would hit the luggage rack of the Yukon if not careful. Relatively smallish issues. Would definitely stay again
