unit 401 in trails end - nothing to write home about

we have no idea what unti 218 is like, but 401 was just average. Bathroom needed attention - seemed as if mould was growing from the top of the shower enclosure to the ceiling and the TV wires in the bedroom were a trip hazard to walking out on the balcony. Location was good as was the hot tub. Pool too far away to use. Great Italian in the Village and good mexican across the road. had trouble slepping -it was either too hot or we used up all the oxygen by 2am! not sure if pets were allowed in this unit but figured that could also have triggered our allergies. will not be booking this unit again but would happily try another unit. Check out the dust on top of the pictures - hotel impossible would have a field day. Bed should be upgraded - felt like we were on a camp/sofa bed. booked through expedia first week of November and then asked great western to reserve us a king bed. was informed the week before departure end March that we didn't get that as expedia customers basically got what units were not specifically requested. Not exactly customer service! when we ran out of the 1.5 toliet rolls between the kids and us, great western first said we need to drive to them to pick up more - really - that's 2 miles away - or buy some - also 2 miles away. They eventually asked maintenance to deliver more...

Dear Mom of 2:

Thank you for your review of Trails End #401! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.

I have shared your review with housekeeping to make sure the bathrooms are scrubbed and the unit is completely dusted during the deep clean this spring season. The Owner has also been informed about the bed in need of replacement, as well as the television wires – thank you for noting! I am happy to see that maintenance did deliver the paper products, but disappointed with your initial response from the office, so the staff will be met with and your experience will be discussed with all of them.

Please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge!

The condo is comfortable and well equipped. Not luxurious, but it made a very pleasant place for us to hang out and recover from the day's skiing. It is ski in/ski out and very close to town - we really appreciated the location. We also appreciate the ski locker on the first floor.
Dated but functional

The unit is definitely a bit dated, with the appliances, furniture, decor, utensils, etc. dating from many, many years ago. That said, it is a perfectly good unit to stay in. If all you need is a place to sleep at night and cook a few meals, it works great.

we had major issue with this unit advertised as 2 baths- its not. having 3 womens around me ( man) - it was hard to get around one bathroom. unit was incorectly classified by managing company or owner. we suffer greatly. Location of unit is great 100' walk to slope. Unit inside needs to be remodel to be more modern.Bath is 30 years old, cover pleds on beds may be 10 years old. do not get me wrong - by replacing 2 sofas and putting flat screen TV - this is not remodeling.Kids complained about lock of the computer (do not put printer in there). Kitchen and bath sink- there is o lot of caulking installed around this but still not working as proprer installation. one more- brick around the fire place- become a major danger when bed is open- my doughter fall pretty bed.I trip over this as well- i know this is major issue, but it not safe. once again good unit- but needs litle love.

Dear Robert -

Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.

I have spoken with the travel agent with the outside company who booked your stay and they were very apologetic as they incorrectly sold the property to you as having 2 bathrooms. All our Trails End 1 Bedrooms only have 1 Bath and the travel company has now fixed this on their end.

I have also listed your items noted for the Owner, as these are really good suggestions with the kitchen and bathroom. Maintenance will check out the brick on the fireplace to make all is safe.

Your review of your stay in Trails End #401 is greatly appreciated and please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge!
