Comfortable and great location

We came to Breckenridge in the summer to have a small family reunion. The condo was really comfortable and clean, very nice and the location near Peak 9 and Main Street was ideal for walking around and exploring. The main living room and kitchen were the hub for games and movies. The beds were all very comfortable and having a bathroom for every bedroom was a great amenity. The hot tub was a nice touch and great way to spend the evening hours. My only complaint is that this unit is not air conditioned and it was very hot in the afternoons. Opening the windows and running the ceiling fans help to cool off at night. But the slider doors on the two downstairs bedrooms did not have screens so they could not be opened without letting in bugs and compromising safety. This was a problem for the bunk room especially since the slider is the only opening to the outside in that room. Please encourage the owners to put screen doors on all slider doors so they can be opened up to cool the condo in the summer months.

Thank you Catherine for your review! Unfortunately, given the high altitude of Breckenridge, air conditioning does not exist at any properties in the area. We do stock all of our properties with fans to ensure that guests can run fans during their stay. We have been to Breckenridge many times in the winter and decided to try it in the summer. This place was fabulous. Just as the pictures showed it. Nice layout, very clean, kitchen with all the necessities, walking distance to town, gorgeous view!! Several little extras were very nice, such as coffee, games, puzzles and plenty of paper products and even shampoo and conditioner that lasted all week. Also really enjoyed the private hot tub after our hikes. This has been the best place we have stayed in Breckenridge. Will definitely return and would highly recommend!

There is lots to do in the summer.We did rafting, biked vail pass, side by sides and hiked Quandary Peak and McCullough Gulch.

You can not beat this location! Walking across the street and through an ally, puts you at the base of peak 9 and the Quicksilver ski lift, which is also the location of ski school for children & adults. It's beyond convenient to everything. Staying in this location could prevent you from having to rent a car. You can walk everywhere you need to go, to include downtown Breckenridge which is about a 5 to 8 minute walk. The main living space of this condo is amazing. The Master is huge. However the main level only has the Master Bath as an option for guest to use but that wasn't a problem for our family. The kitchen was large and open to the main living area. The kitchen was VERY well stocked including a dutch oven, crock pot and even extra ziplock bags. They had several games, books, puzzles, etc. for entertainment. The hot tub was one of the best we have ever used while renting a condo in Breckenridge. There was plenty of seating at the table for our entire family and a couple of bar stools at the bar, too. The two bedrooms downstairs had their own private full baths which was very nice. With the 2 bunk beds in one of the rooms, 4 kids can share that room if needed. We would absolutely stay here again!!

Great location! Short walk to Peak 9 Base, lessons. lifts as well as downtown. Updated furniture and kitchen. Hot tub was perfect after a long day on the slopes. Could have used some dish towels as we ate in more than expected. Looking forward to staying here again.

Very nice and well maintained unit. The unit is very close to the ski lifts and main street. As mentioned below, there are issues with regulating the temperatures throughout the house. It became too hot at night especially in the downstairs rooms. It appears to be a design issue. Hot tub was nice! The staff was very responsive and we would definitely recommend staying here!

A very nice unit that was very well stocked. The location was terrific. Our only complaint was that it was very difficult to regulate the temperature in the unit. The downstairs bedrooms in particular were drafty at times and would become extremely hot in the middle of the night. The humidifiers that were provided were very helpful though. Great Western Lodging was wonderful to deal with too. We will definitely stay here again.

Fabulous vacation retreat. Condo was extremely well decorated and comfortable! All of the appliances and kitchenware were first rate. The hot tub was excellent. The location is perfect for the slopes and dining. We felt at home and relaxed from the moment we walked in. Hope to stay at the same place next year!
