This stunning, cabin-style private home is nestled in the forest of Blue River, just four miles from Breckenridge. It is within walking distance of the free bus stop between Blue River and Breckenridge. The 3-bedroom, 2 ½ bath property with a detached two-car garage is the perfect mountain get-away. The beautiful surrounding pines yet easy access to downtown Breckenridge are huge plus, for your stay. Aspen View Retreat has airy floorplan that offers large windows bringing natural sunlight into the entire home and backdrops of some of Breckenridge’s renowned mountains. This pet friendly home means Fido can join in on the family vacation too! There are numerous hiking trails steps away for your pup to enjoy. We highly suggest checking out the old mines along Fredonia Gulch!

Upon entry into the home, you are greeted with magnificent Breckenridge mountain views and an open floor plan that offers access to a rear flagstone patio with more up-close mountain and forest views. The back deck offers a secluded area for dining beneath the pines or soaking in the hot tub. The gourmet kitchen is adorned with stainless steel appliances and has an island and large dining table for ample seating. The gas fireplace adds warmth to the spacious great room off the kitchen. The main level primary bedroom features a king-sized bed and recently remodeled bathroom with jetted bathtub, double sinks and walk-in shower. Two bedrooms, a full bath, and a second living area with vaulted ceilings and more views are on the second level. The home has many new finishes and is beautifully furnished with comfort in mind.

Aspen View Retreat is the perfect vacation rental for a family wishing for a hideaway to the mountains convenient to the jewel that is Breckenridge. Please note that an AWD or 4WD vehicle is recommended to access this private home. This cozy two level home is just what you need and spacious enough for the whole group.

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful time. It was perfect staying just outside of Breckenridge that weekend [10min drive max in the summer], since so many had come into town for the holiday. The house was decorated very nice and the layout was perfect for our family. My teenage boys really enjoyed the loft area upstairs and the main floor kitchen/dinning living room area was a great place for all of us to gather for some board games and a couple family dinners in the evening. All the cooking supplies I needed for making dinner was available and plenty of paper towels and toilet paper throughout the house. It was also really nice to having access to put our vehicle in the garage every night. The view from the downstairs gathering area was gorgeous and even though it was close to the main road we didn't think the vehicle traffic was much of an issue. The backyard area was also lovely. You do have some neighbors around but the way everything is situated you still feel like you have a lot of privacy. Only thing I would say could use an update would be the hot tub. Just an older model, not as user friendly and they must have just put chemicals in or it was heavily chlorinated because the smell coming off the water was very VERY strong. Overall wonderful stay - we would definitely have no problems booking here again.

The location is ideal for those who’d like to be close enough to Breckenridge to enjoy the resort and town, and far enough away to have some space and solitude. The surroundings can’t be beat, nestled in a quiet neighborhood at the base of a mountain with a hiking trail close by. The layout of the home was ideal with an open floor plan on the main level, a spacious master suite, and an additional living area on the second level. The furnishings and decor are high quality. The hot tub is perfect for relaxing after a day of skiing. The only thing that would have made our stay even better would have been better water pressure in the master shower (this was not an issue in the second level bathroom). We hope to visit again next year!

This is a gorgeous private cabin within easy driving distance of Breckenridge. The space is inviting and very comfortable for a family of five to seven.
