Description

This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom penthouse condo at The Corral is located on the south end of Main Street within walking distance of the base of Peak 9 for easy ski and lift access, and is a quick walk downtown for shopping and dining. This condo includes custom hardwood throughout the main floor, beautiful furnishings, stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, and a 1-car private garage. In the summer, take in the beautiful views of the Breckenridge Ski Resort, or in the winter, cozy up by the modern brick fireplace in the living area.

All guests can enjoy the very large outdoor hot tub on site, fitness room, steam sauna, game room with pool table, foosball, air hockey, 55 inch TV, and lounge area. Plus, for your convenience, we have staff onsite to quickly provide any needs you might have during your stay.

Great property however just a few notations.

So.... this property was well equipped and spacious. It’s always nice when you rent a property that has the basics (oil, salt and pepper, coffee filers, dish detergent). If you want to take the bus to access ski lift on any peak,, the bus picks up literally at the end of the driveway and walk left about 100 yards. It you want to walk to Peak 9 ski lift, it will take you about 10 minutes through the neighborhood. I have three comments that should be addressed. The pillow cases are scratchy (which I hate so I put a sweatshirt over my pillow). The cleaning service is not at all thorough. There is a lot of dust very obviously just under high legged chairs, etc, behind doors, I was stretching on the floor and it was gross. The second floor is VERY VERY warm at night at the only way to cool it off it to open the windows. Other than these two items, we enjoyed the property. Would I recommend to a friend, probably but I would call ahead to ask for a thorough cleaning. I tried to attach some photos with the comment but could not.

Great spot to stay. Only a couple drawbacks. One is there was no grill on the deck as mentioned in the description. Not a big deal. The other is in the summer when you need the windows open at night, there is a highway and stop light outside the bedrooms so it is very loud early morning and late evening. Probably not an issue at all in the winter.

The pictures are a good representation of the townhouse. Very nice in the decor, beds were comfortable. the TV is nice (but it seems to go out from time to time thus turn off & turn on to fix). Fireplace is nice, lots of windows & the kitchen is well equipped. The only real bugaboo is opening windows for summer breeze in the bedrooms because they back up to Main St & Boreass Pass - so a bit noise. Location is a short walk to Main St with restaurants & shops.

Great place, great views, very clean, and very comfortable. The only issue I have with this particular unit is that all of the bedrooms back to the main road, so there was abundant traffic noise all night. And it was fairly warm and we would’ve liked to have kept the windows open, but that just made it worse. I would stay at this complex again, but would look for a unit that is on the opposite side.

The unit was really nice with everything you could possibly need; comfortable rooms, comfortable beds, hot showers with good pressure, every kitchen device you can think of, easy to work the TV, very clean, and great views of the mountains from the deck. The only complaint I had was that every bedroom faces the highway running behind it, so the road noise makes it really difficult to sleep, especially during the summer when you prefer to have the windows open since there is no air-conditioning. I would definitely rent at this complex again and with the management company (very easy check in and check out), but I would try to get one of the units away from the highway.
