Description

Fully remodeled in 2023! This convenient and comfortable ski condo with great ski/Breckenridge access has everything you need for your trip. Loaded with amenities, the top-floor unit has new furnishings, flooring, paint, bathrooms, kitchen, decor, linens, lighting and tech. An ideal base to explore Breckenridge - just a quick walk to the base of Peak 9 and Quicksilver lift or to Main Street. Plus, you’ll wake to a view of Breckenridge’s 10-mile range!

The building:
Heated underground parking with elevator is available for one car and saves the hassle of having to deal with the skier parking lots in town with just a quick 3 minute walk to the base of the mountain. A heated ramp on the south side of the building allows you to cross right behind the Marriott Vacation Club and be on the slopes or even run home for lunch or a snack between runs. The building has an elevator and there are coin-operated washing machines and dryers on every floor. Please note the garage has a 6’6 maximum clearance which may hinder some SUV’s/Trucks with large aftermarket installed/top of vehicle storage.

The unit:
When you enter the condo, there is a hall with hooks and shelves for all your toys, equipment and accessories from a day spent exploring Summit County. The master bedroom has a king–sized bed with a new mattress (2021), new luxury linens (2022), and a full desk setup (2022) for those who want to squeeze in some office time before they hit the slopes. A large walk-in closet gives plenty of room for all of your luggage and an attached bathroom with a full- sized shower/tub allows you to soak at the end of your active day. In the guest room, you’ll find a twin-sized bed along with a queen bed, also with all new mattresses (2021), linens (2022), blackout shades (2022) for those mornings you want to sleep in. A detached guest bathroom features another tub/shower combination and also serves as a powder room for all guests. Located on the top floor, the unit has 28 foot ceilings and stays quite warm during the winter thanks to all the units below and a gas fireplace as well as newly installed baseboard heaters (2022). For entertainment, of the indoor variety, the unit has two Roku-enabled TV’s, Cable, WIFI and board games/puzzles for all ages. In the kitchen, you’ll find we’ve left you fully equipped with all the pans, gadgets and appliances that will make your culinary dreams come true. No dull knives or missing lids here, we make sure to provide anything that will feed you and your guests while in the unit should you want to whip up a gourmet meal. The table seats 8 ensuring that you have enough elbow room for all of the wary adventurers at the end of a long day. The living room is equipped with a gas fireplace operated by a thermostat allowing for you to nestle in for a board game or a movie (on the brand new 55-inch TV) each evening.

Where You’ll Be:
Located in the Warriors Mark area of quaint and historic Breckenridge, (directly adjacent to the base of Peak 9). This is one of Breckenridge’s quietest and most accessible areas. 100 yards to Main Street Station allows for access to shopping, restaurants, coffee shops and endless opportunities for fun apres-ski activities. Two minutes more and you find yourself at the top of Main Street with all of Breckenridge on offer. Venture in the other direction and you’ll find yourself within walking distance of the Breckenridge Ice Rink (.5m) and endless hiking/alpine trailheads south of town. With easy access via Broken Lance Drive, you can skip the traffic and headaches of ski season to focus on enjoying your visit.

Owner access to the Columbine pool is included from the opening day of ski season through Labor Day. One of three pools in Breckenridge is located within the community and just a 2 minute walk down a beautiful wooded path behind the building. Residents of the surrounding buildings mingle there in the hot tub and pool which also includes indoor facilities and changing rooms. (Please note the pool and hot tub are closed from Labor Day to the opening of ski season).

Getting Around:
Once in town, Breckenridge is a very walkable town and it's less than 3 minutes from the unit to Main Street. The town bus system is also fantastic and runs on a frequent schedule during the high seasons should you want to leave the car. Getting to Summit County does require a car, though there are shuttle services from Denver International Airport which could be arranged. Rideshare services to/from Denver and within town are somewhat unreliable and would make for a tough visit. Any adventures that are further afield of Main Street will require a car. Guests are limited to one assigned, heated parking spot during their visit.

During your Stay:
We, Great Western Lodging, can be reached during normal business hours and also have an emergency services number if needed which is available 24/7.

Guest Access:
You will have access to the full unit. You will also have access to the heated, private garage and a community pool, hot tub, locker rooms which is a 2-minute walk from the unit.

My family and I had a great time staying g in the property. This property was dated, but very clean. The fireplace in the living room was perfect. Easy access to town and the slopes. I cannot give it 5 stars because the beds were the worst. The larger beds were hard as a rock and the twin was a giant marshmallow. Being to get a good nights sleep after skiing is too important. If you do not like an extra firm bed, do not stay here.

It was our first trip here and it took us a while to get our bearings. The location is great with walking distance to Peak 9 and shops/restaurants. Covid caused some capacity restrictions around town, but otherwise it was a beautiful area and a great place to roam. After a good snow, I regretted not having 4-wheel drive, but after everything was plowed and melted a little, we were able to get out of the neighborhood streets.

Unit was clean and close to the Quicksilver Lift. I recommend renting from Breckenridge Sports so you do not have to carry your skis to the lift (If renting equipment). Unit was extremely dated and lacked a few modern amenities such as a workout room.

This place was everything we wanted. It was very clean. It had nice comfortable beds. The location, of course, is premium! We loved having coffee on the balcony and watch the sunrise. A family of foxes played every day in the grass across the way. There were 4 hot tubs and a pool that were clean and just the right temperature. Negatives? Not sure I could say anything!

Great location. It’s too far to walk to the grocery store, but I had a car. Very clean. Comfortable beds; (always a tossup when traveling.) TONS of room. Would definitely stay here again.

The reason for the three rating is the inside is in need of some new things. The beds were very uncomfortable and the furniture in the living area is very worn. The kitchen is very well stocked and the kitchen table is big and seats six great. The location is great. Once we parked our car, we didn't get in it until we were leaving. It is walking distance to everything we did. The walk to the lift was not bad at all. It is very quiet, no noise in the hall like at a hotel. Loved Breckenridge!

The unit is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Breck and ski lifts. It is large and can very comfortably sleep 5 - 6 people. While we did not use the pool or hot tub, they were very close to the building. We were pleasantly surprised to have an indoor parking garage (common space) for our vehicle. 

The unit was a bit tired, but its convenience and size made up for the older kitchen, bathrooms and furniture. The rental company was very pleasant and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked. The dining area sits six - we enjoyed using this for both dining and playing cards. The master bedroom had a television, the second bedroom did not. The mattress and pillows in the master bedroom need to be upgraded/replaced - they weren't as comfortable as those we have used at other VRBO rentals and hotels.

This is a great condo, a short walk to the Quicksilver Lift and to Main Street. This was the first time we stayed in this unit but have been at Mountainwood a number of times and keep coming back. This is a 2bedroom, two bath unit with plenty for room, lots of closet space and a well stocked kitchen. The building is quiet, the underground garage is a plus, and the pool and hot-tub complex is just a short walk and very refreshing.

The location to Quicksilver lift and shopping/dining in town is very convenient. The 4th floor porches offer views of the peaks and bowls. Inside the unit, it was properly furnished and we did not experience any problems.

Large bedrooms. Large bathrooms. Large closet in master could be another small bedroom for 1 adult or 2 children! Kitchen had 2 crockpots, blender, small food processor, electric can opener and mixer, etc. Parking garage and elevator is nice for unloading luggage and keeping items dry. Nice view of ski runs. Right off Main Street close to Breckenridge Brewery and Empire Burger. Easy check-in/check-out. Keyless entry, nice to not worry about keys. Big plus, all guests can access unit at all times!

Great location for ski lift and restaurant access. We would definitely book this unit again. Only disappointment was to get to the pool and hot tub, you must walk a couple hundred yards on an icy path. Thus, we did not use our swim suits.

All five of us had a satisfying stay. The bottom sheet and the mattress pad on the queen bed did not fit and the carpeting was stained. Yet overall the condo was very comfortable with a well appointed and equipped kitchen. Thanks for helping make our vacation a enjoyable experience. "Breckenridge is One Great Village"

This condo offers the best location for ski-in ski-out in Breck. Super cozy and just a few minutes walk to downtown shops and restaurants. You won't be disappointed by the views out the windows either. I've visited here during the winter and summer months and have never been disappointed. The new upgrades to the building are pretty fantastic too! Highly recommend.
