Tannenbaum by the River 202

We absolutely loved the stay here. Our family of four had plenty of room to spread out as well as come together for meals and hanging out. The beds were very comfortable. It was close to everything and was about a four minute walk to the nearest shops and restaurants but it still felt secluded and "out in nature" . Having a washer/dryer in unit was also very nice. I would argue our favorite part of this place was the patio/balcony space. When we were at the condo, it was occupied by at least one of us at all times. There is a clear view to the river below and it was the most relaxing part of our trip. The kids loved playing in the river down below.A few things that we didn't love were:1. The balcony is such an incredible part of the stay and the chairs they have out there are extremely uncomfortable. I'd replace them with small cushioned chairs for guests to be able to spend more than 5 minutes out there without it being uncomfortable. We still used it. It just was uncomfortable. 2. If you have noisy neighbors, you will hear them. The stairs, the doors, the walking...you'll hear it.3. I didn't love that the bedrooms had doors to the outside and that people walked by the open windows and those doors. Obviously people have to walk by there to get to their own unit, it startled us every time to have someone SO close to your bedroom window. WITH THIS SAID, NONE of these things would deter us from renting this unit again. I have already recommended it to family and friends.

Great Western Lodging staff

The views were excellence and we saw moose on several occasions. The trails in the area were great for walking into town. There were actually 3 trails that allow you to walk directly into town. The complex was quiet and plenty of parking when we stayed there. The washing/dryer are the same unit. A bit slow but it does do the job. There are three bathrooms. There are
three doors that you could use to enter the unit 202a, b and c. Makes you wonder why. The river flow just outside of the unit made for a relaxing feature.
The unit is on the second floor and no elevator, but only ten steps to get to the second floor. We really enjoyed the unit and would stay again.
