The location at Trails End is hard to beat for anyone enjoying a ski trip. Also our unit had some great extras, like a boot warmer and games. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely stay here again. Plus, Great Western was responsive to all questions we had.

Our stay here was pretty great.

We stayed for Thanksgiving, and had a great time. There's a heater for snow gear (gloves, shoes, etc). Thermostat for both bedroom and living room. Most importantly for me, there's a fully stocked kitchen! I was able to cook us a modest Thanksgiving meal! Overall, much better than I expected.

Nicely appointed. Very quiet.

Loved the location and decor. Could use a new mattress.

Manager Response:

Thank you for your review of Trails End 202. The homeowner actually replaced the mattress in March 2017. Mattress comfort can be a very subjective item. We appreciate your feedback.

We have stayed in this unit 3 different times and it really suits us. Always clean, convenient to downtown, ski in/out, close to grocery store, near bus, ample parking, well stocked kitchen with pots, pans, coffee maker etc, nice view, QUIET, cozy fireplace, and comfortable furniture for relaxing. You can ski for a while.. come in and take and break, then head back out because you are so close to the lift. Great value also. We noticed that the owner continues to make changes to this unit to make it even better.
I am not a skier but my husband is, so he can be on the slopes in 5-10 minutes and I can walk downtown to entertain myself. Love being close to downtown restaurants. I walk but you could take the Breck bus. Will stay again.

We purchased our stay through Groupon and were extremely pleased with the accommodations. It was comfortable and met all of our needs. The kitchen was perfect. Complete with everything we needed to prepare meals. We loved the double patio doors and the grill came in very handy. The bedroom was comfy and well appointed. We appreciated all the little extras Great Western Lodging provided - blue ray DVD to stream Netflix and seasonings for cooking. We would definitely recommend Trails End unit 202 to anyone. You won't be disappointed.

202 was perfect. When the weather didn't cooperate for outdoor activities we stayed in. We were fine with that because the condo is so comfortable, clean and beautiful. When it stopped raining we were able to walk to diner on Main.

We chose to stay in this unit again after staying here last year for spring break. We love the location both on the slope and within the building. Noise is not an issue, even being very close to the elevators. The unit is very nicely updated. We love the built in storage unit for ski gear and the extra storage space throughout the unit for clothes, etc. Our only issue this year was that the bed in the main bedroom seemed much less comfortable than we remembered. We were uncomfortable most nights. The pull-out bed was comfortable for our tween/teen kids. We would recommend this particular unit to others.

Great location, everything is walking distance. Awesome ski in/out.
The only complain we would have is that the wifi was extremely slow.
Our 4th visit to trails end. We love it.

This condo is in a great location, couldn't be closer to the chair lift and a quick walk to Main St. The unit itself has nice and new furniture, is well decorated, and is well stocked with everything from utensils to appliances. The Weber gas grill on the balcony worked great and was nice to have for cooking options. We really heard no noise from other units or outside, and there is a nice wooded view with a creek just outside the balcony. The unit has a bench just inside the door for getting your boots off with lots of hooks above it for coats and ski pants, plus a large shelving unit near the entry that was very convenient for storing boots, helmets, and other gear out of the way. The bed and pull-out were comfortable with good flat screens in the living room and bedroom. The unit is well suited to 2 or 3 adults, or a family of 4. Will definitely try to come back to this unit again on a future ski trip.

We really enjoyed our stay at Trails End! We have stayed here before, but in a different unit. This one was very nice and quiet! We loved having the doors open so we could hear the creek. We will remember this one the next time we plan to visit!!

We loved Trails End 202. Very clean, well decorated, comfortable bed. Glad to have the pool, but it rained quite a bit, so we didn't use it. Close to downtown Breck, so we walked nearly everywhere. We would definitely stay here again. Our only "gripe" was that the front entrance had a number of steps with no way to use the luggage carts other than to unload the car, carry everything up the stairs and then load the carts. Being able to use carts to go from the room to ground level would have been nice. We managed fine, but someone less physically able would have an issue. There is a wheelchair lift, but it can't be used for luggage.

This was the perfect getaway for a few days. Nicely redecorated condo - very comfortable - excellent bed. Trails End has a very nice indoor hot tub with some powerful jets. (The outdoor one wasn't as powerful.) Breck was perfect as usual - mud season was nice and quiet. It even snowed... in the middle of May! Terrific stay. We'll ask for Trails End #202 again! Thanks!

This was our 3rd time to stay at Trails End, but our first stay in #202. The unit was very well updated. Kitchen appliances are top-notch. Lots of details in this condo; the best being the custom built-in shelving unit to store boots, helmets & other ski equipment. There are also lots of places to charge phones, cameras, etc. Pull out couch was comfortable for our pre-teen children. We never heard any noise from the elevator, but noise did carry up from the outdoor hot tub (which closes at 10 pm nightly). The only issue we had was that the pillows were uncomfortable for our taste. Otherwise, we would likely choose this unit again in the future.

Manager Response:

Dear Jmccray,

Thank you for the wonderful review of Trails End 202, we are delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay. I have passed along the information regarding the pillows to our housekeeping staff to take a look at the pillows, we appreciate you noting that!

We hope to see you back again soon, please call us if there is anything we can do to make your next trip just as great!
