Very spacious and comfortable compared to other units in building or nearby properties (we've stayed in nearly all over the years). Loved the private elevator and we had everything we needed in stock for the unit. The unit is tired, quite tired in fact, but the price reflected that so no complaints. Unit was very hot (especially the area with bunk beds) when we arrived and near the peak of the afternoon sun but after a few hours with windows open and fans and it was good to go. Will definitely stay here again.

The good: Location is excellent, and generally the house is nice. The private elevator, heated garage, and elevator vestibule to store skis and luggage was very handy. The lobby also was very nice. Easy access to the snowflake lift, the bus stop, and a short walk to downtown.
The bad: The carpet was essentially worn through in one area, with some nails popping in the floor that caught socks. The unit was really hot (despite 1 degree temps outside) with instructions to just open a window... which we didn't want to do overnight. Kitchen tools werent great, but that is typical for a rental.

place is great. private elevator an extra bonus

location couldn't be better. ski-in/ski-out (involves some flat ares on snowflake, but place is right next the lift). Also very walkable to town. Prop mgmt was very responsive. one drain was clogged and someone came within 2 hrs to work on it. overall, highly recommend and may be back to rent this exact unit.

If you're looking for the perfect accommodations for a couple of families or group, this is the perfect condo! Communication from Great Western was fast and attentive, easy check-in instructions, answered all my questions quickly. The heated garage at the lodge was so convenient, locker space in the garage for our ski gear, a dedicated parking spot just for our unit, and, best of all, a private elevator from the garage directly into our condo. Everything was spotless and beautiful, with views of the Snowflake lift right outside our huge balcony which opened up from the living room and all bedrooms. We literally walked out the back door of the lodge every morning and hopped on the lift, and at the end of the day took the 4 O'Clock run back to the condo. The layout was so perfect for our two families. The one and only thing I would change would be having to go to Great Western's Main Street offices to pick up our check-in information, but it was a minor inconvenience compared to the amazing accommodations of Riverbend Lodge.

Right next to the snowflake lift and a stop on the bus route. Amazing views!!! Snow and mountain all around you. Private elevator and snow locker helped us keep our boards safe and our room clean! Would 100% stay here again!!!

We always bring a lot of people with us when we visit and this condo provides a lot of bed space. Constructive criticism would be to provide some sort of cooling for the bunk beds in the alcove - it get's extremely hot in that space during the night while the bedrooms are cool. Fans perhaps?? Also the carpet is looking pretty worn. We've rented this unit 4 times in the last 9 years and are always hoping it will be available to us on our next visit! Also, Great Western is a very accommodating management company. The penthouses in the past have always had two parking spaces in the garage and Great Western has continued this practice while another leasing company has not. Way to go Great Western!!

Great location with wonderful views!

Excellent property!!Underground parking by door that leads to your Private elevator, opens to living room. 200 feet to Snow Flake lift/trail, and shuttle stop, 15 min walk to downtown. This condo is on the end of complex which offers mountain view’s out Cathedral windows, balcony. Washer and dryer. Plenty of paper towels, detergent, toilet paper, Large table seats 10! Kitchen well stocked with cookware, dishes and we enjoyed cooking several nights. Many complaints in reviews about it getting hot/difficult to control. Actually we turned main thermostat down to 60 and it was perfect. Floors/tile are toasty, heated. Clean, comfortable, wallpaper starting to peel away in bathrooms but not too dated, lodge decor. Biggest problem is only 2 parking spots for a condo that sleeps 10. Bixby at check in said he always recommends just bringing less cars Ha! Sure- 9adults/2 babies from 3 different states! Great customer service with Kim, Molly, and Matt great help in reservations. There is no main desk at condo but we needed a few towels and Taylor got them to us quickly.

Manager Response:

Hi Susan - thanks for your review! We are sorry that we couldn't accomodate more parking spots. Unfortuantely, all of our units, no matter what the size, only provides at least 1 parking spot. We were glad we were able to get you 2 parking spots, however. Parking can be tricky in Breckenridge, however there is a satellite lot that we always provide details about for our guests at check in so they can park additional vehicles there.

Thanks!

Nice place! Great location! Loved the private elevator and heated garage! Great Western staff was great to work with over the phone! Only minor problem was overheated rooms at times but this was easily remedied by opening windows. Would recommend to a friend and will seek this unit out for future trips.

We loved the layout, the heated garage, and all the space for 9 people. The only complaint I have is the bunk beads have broken rails. So we took the mattress off and used it on the floor. The Master bath and hot tub were amazing and enjoyed by all of us.

Manager Response:

Hi Kim:

Thank you for your review of RB307. We appreciate all of our guest's feedback.

We apologize for the inconvienence of the bunk beds, however, we are happy to report that the beds have been fixed and are in great condition.

Thank you and we look forward to you staying with us again.

Great Location!
Plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 small kids.
I have stayed in this community before and love the heated garage.
The unit 307 was defiantly on the warm side! I left windows open and that helped.
Great Western Lodging was great to work with.
We had only one issue regarding a pac-n-play for grandkids not being available in unit after I had called right before leaving home to make sure unit provided one. Agent confirmed that it did have a pac-n-play and when we arrived we were told that it was a mistake and that this unit did not provide one. They had info as to where I could rent one, because their cost was $80.00 to rent! I understood that this was just a mistake, but felt that they should provide for no cost because I called to confirmed. Management took responsibility and there was no charge. Everyone was very pleasant and I defiantly would rent from them again.

Riverbend Lodge is excellently placed right next to the Snowflake lift and Blue Sky Rentals for equipment. The heated garage is a very valuable perk. We truly enjoyed unit #307 several years ago and were very happy when it was available for us again. It is getting a little worn looking tho and the kitchen supplies could stand to be replaced. Most of the cooking wear has lost its non-stick surfaces. Several times a day we had to open the windows in the living area as the temps would creep up to 80 degrees or more if we didn't, and this was at the first of March. Conversely the folks sleeping on the bunks in the alcove complained about it being too warm to sleep at night while the people in the rooms across the hall were cold. Perhaps they could put a ceiling fan in the alcove to alleviate the heat issue. With all that said - we look forward to renting this unit again next year. We usually rent more than one unit at a time but gather in this unit for shared meals and there are usually plenty of plates and bowls to feed everyone.

We chose this location two years in a row. The unit, with private elevator, 2 garage parking spots, and short walk to lift is perfect for our large group which includes 3 children. The condo is plenty spacious for 10 people and the kids enjoy waiving to skiers from the balcony! Only complaint is the $10 charge for one lost key card (out of 8). Hard to believe it was necessary to charge that much for what is essentially a plastic hotel card key.

Manager Response:

Dear Janice:

Thank you for your review of your stay in Riverbend #307! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guests are experiencing exceptional customer service.

I have shared your review with management, and we are happy to let you know that we did reimburse you for the lost key card charge. We apologize that this charge was processed to begin with.

Please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge!

This was great place to stay for the week with my family. We also rented a 1 bedroom suite in the same complex for other extended family. We had a problem with the top rail on the bunk bed being loose, and the manager sent someone out the very next day to tighten it up. The place was very roomy and fit our needs well. The unit is a little outdated but it didn't affect the quality of our stay at all. The large balcony and the unit's own elevator were added features that make this condominium a great place to stay. I would highly recommend it.

Great location - small amount of walking to and from condo for skiing - I wouldn't call this unit ski in /ski out compared to other locations advertising the same accommodations that we have stayed in the past - condo itself was great lots of room for family - loved the large table and open living room

This unit is perfect for larger families and those with kids. We had 6 adults and 3 kids in our party and plenty of room for all. The kitchen was well stocked for all our cooking needs including a large Thanksgiving feast. The hot tub in the master was great for soaking tired bodies and we did use the complex spa (hot tubs) to great satisfaction too. We left a list of very minor issues about the unit (DVD player not working, face plate loose on fireplace and flickering light in kitchen). The pictures shown are accurate. The heated garage and private elevator for this unit were nice additions to our stay and made things super easy when dealing with our ski equipment. I would stay here again next time if we had another large group with us. The view overlooking Snowflake chair lift was nice as well as seeing the moose in the mornings. All these made for a cozy, warm, and enjoyable stay.

Manager Response:

Dear Kathryn,

Thank you for the wonderful review. We love to hear our guest enjoyed their stay and you got to see some of the beautiful wildlife here in Breckenridge first hand, how cool!

We hope to see you back again soon!

We had a great stay at Riverbend #307. Some very minor issues with the windows (screens bent, a couple of handles would come off when opening/closing) but nothing to even call about. The view was great, short walk to town (it is uphill coming back so a little harder, but doable) and we were very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. Condo looks just like the pictures. Very nice stay!!
